No. It's an associated lounge so no access for JQ or OW pax due to QFF status.

I have been into NAN lounge a few times as a WP NB and also SG and no probs at all.

When flying Y on Jetstar? I've always found the NAN lounge staff to be very "accurate" with the rules.

I'm SG flying Y from SYD-NAN on FJ this Friday with the family. I just assumed that as the flight shows up in my bookings on the QF FF website that QF/FJ was regarded as interchangeable and that J lounge access was a given. Is that not the case?

Welcome, Stanley Lambchop.

What is your Qantas FF status and what is your flight number (ie. FJ or QF prefix)?

As a SG you should get access at both ends. QF/FJ flights to seem to have special access rules that were a bit unique for a non OW airline. There was a rumour that this would come to end with souring of the relationship between QF and FJ, but so far nothing has changed.

However if you were instead leaving from MEL at night time you would get no lounge access.

Danger - I'm a gold FF travelling on a FJ flight number
Richie - thanks for the response. Will ask nicely at the lounge and cross fingers

There have been mixed reports in the past, some have said the lounge staff insisted on seeing proof that they were on QF flight number, whilst some have had said they have been allowed in even on FJ number. YMMV.

Personally having only flown out of MEL to NAN on QF flight number in paid business, I got no lounge as the QF lounge was closed at that time (11:30pm departure) and FJ don't have any other arrangements with other open lounges for their Business pax.. shame really.

I sent feedback to the FJ CEO feedback address and said they would look into it but at over 6 months later still no lounge arrangements.
