Access to Lounge flying Air Pacific

What is this about FJ having two lounges at NAN? I followed the signs to the Lounge area and I could only see the one FJ lounge.

I flew FJ Business back in December, I remember only seeing 1 lounge too, showed the lounge attendant, just looked at my Business BP and waved us through, no indication that there was another lounge for J.

But I remember reading somewhere recently (Maybe FJ site?) that there is a lounge for Business pax only then a lounge (Tabua club) for Tabua club members and QFF's flying Y.
Maybe the site is out of date and maybe there is only 1 lounge these days...who knows... when I am back in NAN later in the year i'll be sure to check this time.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I have another slightly different FJ lounge question.

I flew FJ LAX-NAN the other day in J. J passengers are given an invitation to the LAX International Lounge on Level 4, which is shared with the Taiwanese airlines, Philippine Airlines, and Air Tahiti Nui.

However, this flight is also sold with QF and AA codeshare flight numbers. If I booked on one of those, could I use OWS to get into the oneworld J lounge instead, or even OWE for the oneworld First Lounge (from memory, this is the so-called Flagship AA Lounge)?

OneWorld benefits only apply on OneWorld marketed and operated flights.

However he could access a QF lounge in lax even as OWS correct as long as QF flight number?

Also I thought OWE could access OW lounge as long as marketed by OW carrier?

What about using QF F Check-in at LAX?

Depends, but I think in lax you would have to use FJ checkin..

On a side note how did u find FJ cabin crew? I found them to be some of the best & most friendly cabin crew I've experienced was a really pleasant journey

No, One World lounge access is only a given when on a Oneworld marketed and operated flight, QP rules apply in this case, not One World:

Members of oneworld airline frequent flyer programmes with the equivalent of oneworld Emerald or Sapphire status can use any lounge offered by any oneworld airline when departing on any flight marketed and operated by any oneworld member airline, no matter in which cabin class they are flying.

Agreed. They're especially happy when you ask for refills and second servings of meals!

No, One World lounge access is only a given when on a Oneworld marketed and operated flight ...
This is distinct from Qantas lounge access which is given before a Qantas or Jetstar Marketed flight where the PAX is SG/WP/QP.

Can you elaborate? Do you know if this will be for status pax, J pax or both? I am flying J next March on a QF No.

I think you will find no Qantas access, FJ may find an alternative, in MEL its been that way for a while since the QF lounge is closed.

Sorry, markis10, can you say again? I'm flying FJ in J on a QF flight number (ex SYD though) in a month ... are you saying they won't let me into the Flounge?

Thats a possibility, same thing was happening for the brief time QF Codeshares with EY, difference of course is that QF does have some interest in FJ financially but it does sound like things are changing.

Going by the recently removed rules, you need to be on a QF/Jetstar flight number (or oneworld marketed & operated) for lounge access.

If indeed your ticket had the FJ flight number, not the QF codeshare then by that you should have had no lounge access - I think you were lucky.

Did she say what the change would be?

Given that I purchased a J ticket through the QF website with a QF number and at the time of purchasing said ticket one of the advertised benefits is lounge access, I will be pretty pi$$ed off if I am turned away from the J lounge. And as an aside this will be another example where my lifetime QP membership has been enhanced. ( I just love that word 'enhanced')

they'll take my lounge access out of my cold, dead hands.

Anyway when flying FJ from Melbourne we haven't had lounge access in a long time... mainly due to the QF lounges closing @ 6pm and FJ flights are not til 23:00.

Hi
If we are Qantas gold, can we access the Nadi lounge with a JQ flight on Y?
