I'm currently in the J lounge at Sydney and it's quite comfortable. I was previously in the F lounge and had the salt and pepper squid which was fine. I ordered a champagne and a half full glass was delivered with a rather disdainful look form the female attendant. OK I thought everyone...

Yes. I'm lifetime Star Gold and visit BKK regularly. The TG lounges are really not very nice, so I usually visit the Louis Tavern 1st class lounges. Much better range of alcohol, and the food isn't too bad...

Well it's their choice; no-one's forcing them to do it. I do have a bit of a gripe with some of the moderators on this forum though. Some just seem to carry on as if they are regular members, posting at will. But given their extreme powers, they might also be tempted to act as schoolyard...

Well DJ didn't comp me for whatever reason and I'll be minimising my flying with them as a result. They have also taken away my priority pass access and want me to pay for a glass of tap water on their flights. Why would I waste my (personal) money with such a poor airline? BTW, I'm now QF...

I'm afraid I can't afford to pay for poor service and no airline alliances (of any note). But DJ down the back cheapie economy hasn't changed for the better and doesn't come close to QF economy. No food, no nothing (unless you pay through the nose). And no decent FF points either. For economy...

I note that the TSA is now required by law to to allow you to nominate the sex of the person viewing your scan. Of course, I will always ask for a female to review my scan.

Quite a good weekend for me with the 10c/ltr promo and 250 points for 2 cases of beer (always handy to have). Also triple Fly Buys points at Coles and 8c/ltr as well. It seems the competition is getting a bit more real...

That's a very strange comment. It's statistically proven (putting my CASA hat on) that well over 50% of aviation incidents, including fatal ones, are due to human error. So what are you saying exactly, and why? Oh, and BTW, hello amaroo...

If it were me, I'd put my miles (of which you obviously have a lot) to better use, such as upgrading from Y. Much easier and cheaper. Decent flight awards with EK are notoriously hard to get and expensive.

Well the vast majority of those I used to supervise were. They knew it was almost impossible to sack them, so they took full advantage of it. I'm sorry, but your bleatings cut no ice with me. You can always just leave and try and find a better job (!).
