Any luck with J Saver Awards?

Have been a member for just under 12m.
Have searched and searched for J Saver awards Mel - LHR - Mel.
Can never find availability in both directions.
Anyone know any tricks?

J Savers are only availbale on routes with older planes....apart from rarer glitches

With Frankfurt now going to A380 from the 747 it will soon not be available either.

That leaves Rome, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Istanbul.

If you want London...redeem a Star alliance Award., which will be be a lot cheaper than Standard SQ J.

When I search the site, Flex returns come up, invariably.

You seem to be referring to SQ above and not EK?
Luckily, I have points on both and have already booked SQ from MEL-AMS, rather than LHR for next year, thanks to an earlier post on this site.
Pity I hadn't joined earlier and I would have known not to send Mrs Duffa to LHR on SQ A380. Cost me twice as many points.
However she did say she ENJOYED travelling on a sofa!

I still can't find saver flights consistently, on the EK website however

If it were me, I'd put my miles (of which you obviously have a lot) to better use, such as upgrading from Y. Much easier and cheaper. Decent flight awards with EK are notoriously hard to get and expensive.
