    Starwood Privilege - worth it?

I'm thinking of signing up for this program and wanted if anyone here had signed up for it and their thoughts on the program. As far as I know, the only real benefits are dining benefits within Australia. I heard the cost was around $339AUD. Has anyone got a better deal?

Experiences of benefits (or lack of) on rewards stays

Based on recent discussions, apparently for rewards stays, it is IHG policy that there is no obligation for IHG properties to grant any elite member privileges. Fortunately however, many other IHG properties do indeed offer these benefits. Which hotels do you know of that are generous, and which...

No Upgrades Allowed on Point Stays: Official Word from IHG

"Hotel Room Upgrades benefit for Platinum Members does not extend to Reward Night reservations." Priority Club Rewards | Priority Club Terms and Conditions A pity really, as it does mean that reward stays are treated as second rate. Fortunately though, there are many IHG properties that do...

    Serviced Apartments

I quite like the idea of serviced apartments with at least 2 rooms and kitchen. That way you can prepare your meals (if you wanted) and have a proper sized fridge as well. Failing a 2 bedroom suite at a hotel (which obviously would be hideously expensive), I think a serviced apartment would be a...
