Hi, has anyone used the departure lounge site (www.departurelounge.com.au) to book accomodation from Mantra, and is it any good?
It is a password protected site, which you can get access to buying an Entertainment Book.

Cheers

I used for a peak weekend in Adelaide when not much else available. Saved a bit for that weekend but in general terms did not look that cheap.

I used for a peak weekend in Adelaide when not much else available. Saved a bit for that weekend but in general terms did not look that cheap.

I have used it three times so far and have found it extremely cheap! Often half price!

Places I've stayed:

Mantra Portsea Port Douglas - $70 per night for hotel room for two people
Peppers Salt Kingscliff - $210 per night for 5 people in 3 br suite, including full breakfast
Peppers Broadbeach -$165 per night for 1 br ocean view suite for two

All were about half the going rate.

A couple of things to note:

Full payment at time of booking required
No changes or cancellations allowed
Min 3 nights for most properties
Usually not available within 3 months (but you can join Club CU Soon and get access to some last minute deals that are similar in price)

Definitely recommend using Departure Lounge!
