This is due to Citibank not supporting gambling or online gambling. It changed a few years back after online gaming was restricted in the USA. You can't use any citibank cards on any online gambling websites to this date.

There are seperate events for Centurion which can be alright at times. The Fat Duck was only for Centurion I believe and not open to Platinum Cards.

Called Centurion to book me a booth at the Long Room Melbourne (a centurion partner). Paid for a drink at the bar with an Amex card and copped a 3%+ surcharge, pretty peeved at the one! Surely amex shouldn't sign up partners which are going to surcharge.

Parking today in the Melbourne CBD (SecurePark Flinders Lane) was the first time I had seen 2% surcharge for every other card except Amex. Thought it might have been a misprint but sure enough no surcharge was added, a pleasant surprise!

Further to this, it is also possible to have Life time CL Membership, Two people in my family have been given this however one has since past. They were original FF members with three digit FF numbers. The membership is renewed every year despite only taking one or two flights a year.
