Yep you nailed the solution.
Book all the seats in F or J or get your own G650.
Or suck it up and get over it.

Blinky - you'd almost go platinum if you could family pool all 7 kids onto the one account!
Of course you are not happy, but you do your best. I got the job of walking the baby up and down the aisle, which usually did the trick. A bit of cough for the bub also often worked.
I do understand it can be annoying, but it's not the only annoying thing on a flight. Personally, we were lucky as our kids were good sleepers.
of course not, and that is why I say have a thought for the poor parents who are probably mortified and doing their best to resolve the crying!
Of course now all the kid bearers are trying to shut me off just defend their turf, surprise surprise. I'll stick to what I'm saying and will be closing off this ridiculous fight as it's just leading nowhere. Fact is: Kids under the age of 3 suck big time on an aircraft , are a nuisance for everyone around them an most likely get traumatized for life just so that their ego-loaded parents can have a nice time. People like that should't even get kids but that's a different topic altogether.
d) "traumatized for life" - how patronizing - exactly how is a 3yo traumatized for life by going on an aircraft? Most seem to love flying.
Thats what I'd like to know. how exactly are they traumatised Berlin???? can you explain it in detail? I'd like to know what bad thing I've done to my child???
I think Kids could be traumatised sitting next to Berlin
What should we do with kiddies that recline in Y?![]()

Thanks for that responsible comment, I can wholeheartedly agree and have witnessed cases of well-behaved (because well looked after) kids like this as well. I just wish all parents thought like this!
And only if I'm in the minority doesn't proof it's me who's ridiculous here. It's always the cornered animals who whack out the hardest![]()
Just read the first 3 pages and I felt like I was trapped in a revolving door...........to save my "traumatisation" of reading the other 9 pages, can anyone tell me
Just read the first 3 pages and I felt like I was trapped in a revolving door...........to save my "traumatisation" of reading the other 9 pages, can anyone tell me if it's worthwhile?
BTW, FWIW, my three kids have all flown before their 2nd birthday and all of them learnt to snow ski before their 2nd birthday. It sort of reminds me of a comment I heard Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) make in an interview. He said his mother was always "preparing" him for the life he'll start later. He said it wasn't until he was about 21 or so that he realised life starts at day dot and he wished he could have lived it from then instead of so much "preparing".
Why do you feel cornered ?
I's interesting how many of the comments here are borderline schizophrenic, people seriously asking for "tolerance" and moaning about "how bad society has become" while at the same time demanding special rights and obedience by every one around yourself just because- big deal- you've managed to pop some offspring. Obviously, that's the same ones who bring children into the world without thinking of the consequences and then demand the rest of society to help with the upbringing.
Just in case the news hasn't made it all the way to WA: Only because you're in the oppressing majority, this give you any special rights and doesn't make your opinion any more valid, no matter how much you bash onto me for my opposing views. I haven't attacked anyone at all personally, very much unlike some of the attacks I have gotten. But I guess if you live with such a distorted view of reality like some people seem to do, then you'll do what ever it takes to uphold this view if someone to point out what's wrong here. Seen it before, will see it again.
And no, I'm not trolling in the slightest. Just stating my views on the matter which happen to not fit the mainstream.
Berlin, you still haven't answered my question. I'd like to know how I traumatised my child with taking her flying? Should I take her to counselling? or is she scared for life? you made a bold statement so please back it up with some facts.
