So the really old ones that didn't have an expiry date are no good even if I can find where I put them? Have heaps of them - 20 or more. Back when the came in books of 5, IIRC.
Has anyone tried to use them?
Aren't these the ones, or similar, that have been selling on eBay overseas in blocks of 4? Has anyone heard if there have been any complaints of people purchasing these and not been able to use them?So the really old ones that didn't have an expiry date are no good even if I can find where I put them? You would be referring to the "Guest Passes", not the complimentary invitations of which there is an image of in the OP.So the really old ones that didn't have an expiry date are no good even if I can find where I put them? Have heaps of them - 20 or more. Back when the came in books of 5, IIRC.

Over the years I received and still have dozens of the blue (& white) credit card sized guest cards. Yon guest card required a member to be present to "guest" the non member in.Not all were large as mine came out of the 1994 joining as a life member kit.The guest invitations had no expiry but my life QP card did.

So today it was finding hotel stuff from the 80s.

There was one from the Sheraton wentworth as well.have stayed at more closed Sheratons in australia than currently open ones.
Also back then I was lifetime Gold(no plat) in the Sheraton Club international.Disappeared when they weent to SPG.Always upgraded to Towers in Brisbane back then.Plus usually top floors in Singapore and HKG.
Hopefully LTQP and LTP on AA dont go the same way.
I actually used a few about 6-7 years ago at the Sheraton singapore-they didn't want to honour them but their name was on the cert with no expiry so I got the deal.Do you think the old 50% off rack rate coupons they sold us as part of the Sheraton Privelege would still work? I found an envelope or 3 that look similar, with all these vouchers inside.Possibly from the 80s or early 90s

The 90s were not a bad time to be flying, miss the 1000 points a day for Avis rentals which meant a J RT with SQ every 6 months! Things you find when you are cleaning up, looks like I double dipped SYD-KUL, would have done the same coming back but I was refused boarding, and still got points!

I learnt something new. I had no idea CX was part of *A back in the day. Interestingly reading your statement I see CX400. It caught my eye as I flew the same flight number on the same route on Sunday.
