You expect me to be nice.:shock:Just because we agreed on 1 subject.
Now you really are going too far or else I need more medication.:);)

It's ok, in the nicest possible way is a relative term. I wouldn't expect your nicest possible way to be as nice, in absolute terms, as my mum's (for example) nicest possible way. But you might be more nice than SWMBO. ;)

What a weird test match in South Africa.

I cannot believe Australia has lost by 8 wickets on the 3rd day after scoring 284 and getting South Africa out for 96.

Oh well, could take a while for this team to gel.

Or perhaps for the pitch to gel?

Australia had no issues with the tail scoring 70 runs in the morning for the loss of 2 wickets or the South Africans scoring 81 runs late on the 2nd day for the loss of 1 wicket.

Not a good time to be an Australian cricket supporter but perhaps we can beat New Zealand, West Indies and Zimbabwe again....

I missed the test but I thought I heard that 23 wickets were lost in a day.:?: There has to be something dodgy with the pitch, surely. :?:

Pitch was a little green and seamed a lot but professional cricketers should be able to handle those sort of conditions. And to be fair to the pitch they normally play at Newlands in January when the conditions are much more pleasant.

As a cricket tragic, I went from euphoria getting SA out for 96 (particularly the post lunch period), to watching the Aussies capitulate.

Haddin had a brain explosion with his shot - it's a Test match not 20/20. Some soul searching required before the 2nd Test. It will also give the NZ team heart for their Test Series against us starting 1 Dec at The Gabba.

No prizes for guessing where I will be

Scarily, she will do what the rest of the Premiers have done - gone into private enterprise (consultanty to legal firms) or on the Boards of government instrumentatilies.

Could Anna run a pay dunny in her next career move ??

That should mean an upgrade to OOL then - they have 6 years
Hopefully this is the case. All of the new apron works are going ahead as planned and this at least gives them much greater capacity for parking large aircraft. It is early days but I wonder if other projects such as the rail line extension to OOL from Varsity will get accelerated now as well.
