Oh well, called and renewed with Optus today. 32gb will arrive Wednesday apparently.

Anyone know the number for Vodafone to activate a post paid sim? Can't find the number anywhere - only prepaid info on Voda websites...

I got my 4S on Friday morning and have had fun with SIRI.

Was going to start a thread on the strangest answer you have had from SIRI but not really a AFF type topic.

maybe a playground thread?

That is a all 24/7 support numbers.

Business is 135 888

Hope this helps,

Simo

Thanks thing is you can't dial 1555 from your unactivated sim so will use my other phone...

Got tired of waiting on my online order; phone calls resulted in 'we dont know the status of your order', so I went into my local store and walked out less than an hour later with my new phone. Just waiting for my number to port across, but getting it all set up in the mean time :D

Ordered today, hopefully pick it up tomorrow.

Should be quite an improvement over my 3GS :)

So still no stock with Telstra Business.

Getting kind of annoyed as I ordered on the morning they made them available.

Walking around Sydney and finding a store that has them is looking more attractive.

Not impressed by Siri - the lack of maps integration isnt great but I have got location services working for reminders.

OK - so my 4S will arrive today apparently, but updated the 3GS to IOS 5 last night and just playing around with this iCloud thingy...... Any opinions on this?

Question for all you iExperts........

I'm perplexed why the iCloud Mail app would be of any use? I already use POP mail leaving msgs on server, so can already access mail remotely via webmail, or my Outlook when I log back in (and this applies no matter how many devices).

And if you're using Gmail or similar - you already have universal access.....

Am I missing something??

Apparently maps for Siri is coming...
Heard that as well, as we know the businesses/maps are for U.S only, but when they have finished with the BETA they will roll it out in Europe and Australia as well. F.Y.I My 4S hasnt come yet, rang up the indians at vodafone and said they have a backlog and will be dilivered this week definately.

At 12:38, I recive a text saying it has arrived, so that is 3 minutes after I posted the last reply. FTW!!! Now to face the last 2 hours of school.

Preordered mine on the Telstra website on Wednesday, no communication received
from Telstra besides the email confirming the order and order no.

Sent an email yesterday asking the status of the order, received a reply stating
that they received the order it's being processed, and an email will be sent when
phone is shipped.

Not that I'm in a hurry for the phone but it's poor service from Telstra.

Order ended up being cancelled by Telstra via email early Tuesday morning (0240), not happy.
Was out of mobile range from Friday arvo to Tuesday morning. Rang Telstra, sent emails, no one can own up
why the order was cancelled. Was hoping the phone would be waiting for me
when I get home next Wednesday, not now.

Looks like I'm not the only one who has had their order cancelled.
