I'm sure you meant to type 26 May

You are still showing tom911, who recently pulled the pin on ozfest 8 - you may want to replace his name with Bob W
I cannot change the OP now. Just waiting for some kind moderator to fix up my typing error (yes May is so close to April in more ways than one ;)) and remove tom911 from the list.

I'd prefer bourbon :p
Not if I am having a drink for you! :p

I will be in Darwin on May 26, but if anyone wants to meet up on May 19, I'll be in town that night.

We might be able to organize something, which hotel are you staying at while in Brisbane, May 19 I might not be able to attend though.

I am free on May 19th if you want some dinner and gelato company :)
I live just up the hill from the CBD so any time is pretty fine.

Yep, I believe I'm free that night, and most likely interested.

I'll be at the Chino Hotel Brisbane, 19 O'Keeke Street.

Omg. Who booked you in all the way out there? Less you are doing something w the hospital... Can you get to the CBD?

I did, but I know nothing of the area. Can you recommend something more central? I leave for SYD the next day at 1:15 PM on QF529, so I have plenty of time to get back to the airport.

I have been in contact with Bob W on Flyertalk (I see you have joined AFF as well) for the past couple of days and have now created a new thread for drinks/dinner on Thursday 19 May.

Same place as usual unless anyone has better suggestions.

P.S Chinos is not that far from Buranda railway station and is a ~15 minute trip to Central railway station and then ~5-10 minute walk to The Mill.

It would appear I am also available for the 26th. Two Thursdays in a row - you people are so lucky

I will be making my first appearance at the Brisbane drinks (excluding the gathering last year) this time around :)

Due to Ewing making an appearance, I shall also join in for two Thursday’s in a row, though will have to watch my budget carefully ;)

We’ll roll out the red carpet!

I wonder how much money you are going to save me on taxi fares, that money can now go into drinking. :p

I need to make sure I attend the drinks night now.

You will notice that the Brisbanites are much more conservative and do not get up to the things that the Melbournians get up to on drinks nights. ;)
