Credit Card Offers Virgin Money Velocity Flyer Offers & Discussion

Zip and afterpay payments no longer qualify as eligible spendings.
Recently reapplied and received first statement, amount of base points received equal the amount of spendings minus afterpay and zip payments unfortunately.
Was it just for normal points accrual or also the sign-up bonus eligibility as well? Did you end up getting that at least?

why would they care about BNPL?
Doesn't even seem to be explicitly outlined in the terms and conditions yet under the 'Eligible Transaction' section at least as far as I can tell?

That is new and disappointing. Is it a NAB issued card? If so, wouid presumably apply to other similar cards.

Question - I completed the first month spend target to trigger bonus points but didn’t get them with the first months standard points. Is there a delay after triggering bonus points?

I easily spent more than required well before the end of the first statement.

Bank of Queensland owns Virgin Money Australia. However, NAB is the issuer and administrator of the cards once they took over from Citibank.

There seems to be some speculation that BNPL no longer contributes towards points earn, but the T&C's don't seem to suggest that. Unless of course the new T&C's haven't been published online yet..

Refer to the T&C's. I think I had to wait a month for mine to be credited, but that was like 3 years ago...
