Am I being unreasonable in thinking that this is pathetic, do people have no consideration for others? I’m no clean freak, but FFS, get some class mate.

The hostie should really give this fella a whack … he’s not even tall!

You're literally sitting right next to the person. Why didn't you say something if it bothers you so much? Or perhaps you did?

If you want change, say something. Posting about it on the internet isn't going to change anything. As David Morrison said "The standard you walk past is the standard you accept"

Plenty of things worse than feet on bulkheads.

1358 posts worth in fact.

I’m tall and could easily find it more comfortable to sit like this but I don’t. It is terrible manners in my view. Do these people sit with their feet on their walls or their dining table at home?
You betcha....

The worst habit that is now commonplace is playing videos/music/tik tok without headphones (particularly bad in Asia).

I’d rather someone have their feet on a bulkhead than have to listen to their phone for a full flight.

But the problem is that the ‘rule’ (interpretation of ‘manners’) isnt applied consistently.

The Qantas premium economy foot net actually puts your feet - and shoes - over the magazine pocket and on the bulkhead. No different to the picture posted.

People put their feet on seats on planes all the time, especially if they have a spare seat or two beside them. That’s not considered bad manners.

People put their bare feet in the cubby and footwells in bed mode. Sometimes after they’ve been to the bathroom without shoes!

Yeah, i get it that shoes on a safety card isn't all that appealing… but how many folk have handled that card after going to the toilet and not washing their hands… or coughing or sneezing into their hands?

It’s hard sitting in the bulkhead seat on a narrow body aircraft… even crossing your legs you shoes are likely to brush up or rest against the literature pocket.

For all of the above… not sure how I can pick the difference, and why one is worse than any of the others.
