Though 60ml is not what I'd thought a "very small amount" (as per the website) would be. I imagined pipettes and microscopes and litmus tests for some reason.

I was thinking pipettes as well.

But i guess for humans they need a bit more to cough it properly

I spoke to a grange reseller/broker recently and he said that most of collectors prefer original un-cliniced bottles

Ive only been to one precovid/start of covid but didnt get any notifications at all.
I found the website this year and registered interest and just got the email to register for a booking

ive got 2 bottles booked in for this week, 70s and 80s

im kind of in 2 minds now on whether to cancel,

a few grange experts have said un cliniced ones are more desirable.
but most websites advertising the clinic say it can increase value......

Are these for you to drink or to make a buck off?

I'd much rather purchase a cliniced bottle than take the risk with an old bottle that's in an unknown condition.

I've a bottle to be tested on Friday. The ullage is close to the 'red zone' by my measure. I don't know what I'm going to with it if it's gone or if the ullage is too low. I don't know what I'm going to do with it if it's fine either. I want the sticker as it is confirmation that the condition.

I originally bought them on impulse, i would like to keep the value of it, im not intending to sell it but dont want to do anything to "lower" the value

im in 2 minds as to whether I will eventually drink it,
personally, i am reluctant to drink something so expensive,
I have a bottle of japanese whisky that i bought for a special occasion and that has gone up into what I consider "too expensive" to drink territory

Ended up cancelling my booking, because a bit of: they only notified me of the booking about a week ago, when I registered in June/July, and it was too short notice, ( i let them know i would have gone if they gave me more notice)
and I guess I could do it next year as well, and im a bit reluctant to "tamper" with my wine, regardless of whether im going to drink it, keep it forever
