Do only points earned from flying count towards tier levels?

My current Tier points seems to be significantly more than from just flying but less than the total earn for the Tier year (points earn so far from Flying, Wine and Hotels).

Interestingly I have found to difficult to find some definitive documentation on this other than levels seem to be related to points earned "From Travel".

I note this page implies points earned from car rental count:

Our EOY is April and points from hotels, flights (including QBR Amex 'triple earn') have counted since then. No wine or CC transfer have been included. (I have not rented a car in that time).

and that’s one I don’t have!

Am I correct to assume that a Tier year end of 31 Oct 25 only includes activity from 01 Nov 24 (not Oct 24)? Not that it helps me reconcile the numbers!

I’ll have to pay more attention when the counter resets this coming Oct/Nov…

None of my April 2025 points earn is included in my current Level tally.

I assume your Tier year ends 30 April 25?

Does your current total add up correctly?

When I get home, I’ll post the sub-totals of mine. Really scratching my head trying to reconcile.

Now, as I typed that, I know there’s the issue with PC tally. Activity can post in the current year but from activity dates in the previous year - they don’t count towards PC. I need to double check!

Cool. I wasn’t sure if QF Hotels counted so that’s good to know and makes sense why some combo of numbers comes close to my tally!
