Any anecdotes from anyone who received their booster at Sydney Olympic Park vaccination centre and now long it took for it to show up on your AIR/Medicare record?

Up to 8 hours, I had mine at 8am on 22nd Dec, I checked medicare just after 4pm and it was there (of course could have been there earlier, dose 1 and 2 were online within 30mins). Although they said to allow up to 24hrs, may be slower over public holidays. If its been more than 48hrs I would follow-up to make sure they submitted it.

And mine at pharmac_ was there when I checked 15 minutes after the jab. Then immediately uploaded to Tas and QLD check in apps.

Tried a few times to get a booster in the UK but couldn’t as the 3 months wasn’t up. The night before I flew home I tried a 3rd time (3 months was up) and ended up getting a Pfizer booster to follow the two AZ I had back in Australia.

In the UK when you look for a walk-in site you can see which vaccine types they offer so I knew that Pfizer would be what was offered before I got there. When I arrived there was no wait at all. It was fantastic.

Not sure whether it was a booster reaction or just dehydration but I didn’t have any breakfast on QF10 before arriving in Darwin. I did eat a few dinners on the next flight.

Maybe it was a bit crazy to have a booster just before flying home, but I did it.

Had I waited to get one at home I wouldn’t have been eligible to get a booster till late January. I didn’t want to wait that long. I plan to attend a large event in a few weeks and want as much protection then as I can get.

I think I might not be able to register my booster here so I may end up having another one if having a booster becomes a requirement to remain considered fully vaccinated.

It can be done. Try your local pharmac_ or GP.

Not sure that a piece of paper with my name, vaccine type and batch number handwritten on would be sufficient for that, but I guess could try.

Well ATAGI has approved 3 months which will take effect on 31st January. The immunocompromised can have a third dose after 2 months.

I waited the full 12 weeks between my AZ doses but wanted to get my booster as soon as possible. If Australia had moved to a 3 month wait sooner I may have waited till I got home, but they moved too slowly for me.

Received Moderna Booster 6 Hours ago - already showing in Medicare and have downloaded to Service vic App.

So far nil symptoms.

I had my Pfizer booster on Sunday. No effects that day. Yesterday woke up tired and fatigued, got worse during the day and by early evening it developed into a mild fever. Slept for 11 hours and today woke up fine. Felt mildly tired at times during the day but basically back to normal - will be 100% tomorrow.

I had severe symptoms from Pfizer 2 - very strong fever and chills that lasted 4 days.

I had the mew medicare vax certificate before my 15 minutes of observation was up.

Pfizer booster on Saturday after 2 AZ - slightly sore arm for 24 hours but no other side affects. Friend had one same day and he said he feels like cough but then he is male ;)

Ahem, triple Pfizer here and no issues at all 😏

Wife and I both had Moderna boosters last week. We were both about the 5 month mark post 2nd jabs and both had Pfizer for the first 2. I experienced quite severe pain in my shoulder joint, of the injected arm, that started about 24 hours after the booster and lasted about 24 hours, otherwise nothing else. Wife not so lucky, ended up at hospital, on GP's advice, after 4 days of feeling terrible, noticeable swelling in lymph nodes in armpits and neck, a few scans and blood tests and given the all clear to go home and rest. Day 8 now and she is fine and gone back to work today. Next stop, Europe.

Team Lat34 had Moderna boosters last Thursday. Nil reactions for either other than slightly sore arm at injection site, mainly noticeable at night in bed. Same, same with AZ jabs early June & end July.

Updated vax certificate x2 available when checked 20 mins later.

As baby boomers, we put no reactions down to being allowed out to play until the street lights came on and of course eating grass & dirt as little 'uns.

Also happy to report even better 5G signal strength 😄

Zero reaction to my first two AZ's and I trust my baby-boomer immunity will continue the run when I receive my Moderna and 10 days time !!
