Went looking for a yearly AFF thread on flight totals, seems like one for 2021 wasn't posted as we all had such low mileage and so didn't post anything, usually there are people boasting how much flying they had done.

2021 would have seen very few leisure flights and it was probably only for work or to see family you hadn't seen in ages.

I only managed 8775 miles.

4 trips, Melbourne, Whitsundays, Adelaide and Perth, both Adelaide and Perth were trips where it was 3rd time lucky only have around $100 credit with each airline left which is good.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

That’s precisely 8775 more than me.
All six booked and paid trips cancelled

I somehow managed 9963 miles, including a trip across the ditch before the bubble burst.

I ended the year with eight flights totalling 5754 miles.

  • 1 domestic sector on an international flight (QF9 MEL-DRW)
  • Some firsts - BNE-SYD-ADL for new VA lounge opening, QF PPP-BNE inaugural flight, VA HBA-PER inaugural flight, JQ PER-BNE inaugural flight and VA CNS-OOL inaugural flight, but had to cancel JQ BNE-CBR inaugural flight
  • And finally - QF BNE-RMA-CTL final flight on the final day of 2021

8 flights totalling 5349 miles...all in 1st 1/2 of 2021, Syd-Adl/Mel/Nlk/Bne return. Better than 2020 which was 0. Have booked Tokyo and Reykjavik in 2022 but unlikely I'll be going unless Covid numbers plummet !

Flights in 2020. Zero.

Flights in 2021. Zero.

Flights in 2022. I can probably make a prediction...

Airports: 3 (MEL, SIN, PER), Airlines: 3 (SQ, TR, QF)
Flights: 5, Distance: 15,344 Miles

Least number of sectors/distance flown since 1997.

Lowest number of pax on a flight: 3 out of 375 seats (Scoot 789 from SIN to PER in August).

The best bit? The first year since 2001 I have not done an overnight flight on an airplane :)

Miles: 22420
Flights:6 (5J 1Y)
New airline: QR
New airport: DOH
More than last year and got to see family overseas 😀

4 flights
2382 miles (3833 km)
Two cancelled NZ trips, two cancelled GC and one cancelled Port Douglas.

RT BNE-NLK which is 1816 miles rt. This is the least travel I have done in any year since the early 1990's!!
