Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Anyone had TWE calling them with special phone only deals? I've been rejecting calls from an 03 number that I didn't recognise for the last week and they have now emailed me a list of products that are apparently on special but no prices mentioned. Wonder if it's worth a call back because there are some labels I'd be interested in if the price is right

In the past, the prices don't tend to be that different from what is offered via cellar door.

Worth a call if you know your prices. The prices they will quote won't be spectacular. But they do have wriggle room, so you might be able to negotiate something you are happy with.

I actually got called by them this Arvo, after seeing your post. The guy was talking pretty standard sale prices I thought. $16 for Seppelt chalambar. $30 for bin 28, I think it can be found cheaper?. Wynns black label around $30 give or take- I'm just going from memory. I didn't try and negotiate or buy any.

Interesting the Blackwell is cork closure when they've been screwcap for a number of years. Guessing the old failed export problem.
