Brother in Ireland said that he lost quite a bit of fencing as well as kennel and shed doors ripped off, all thanks to Hurricane Ophelia. He thinks he was lucky though.

The principal at a school where I taught gave me some great advice. She said that when it was not fun any more it was time to go. I followed her advice (and should say that she did the same thing) and left teaching then spent 7 years in the PS and again when it became 'not fun', off I went. Life's too short to be miserable.
Agree but life is too long to live without money. I need to save now for my daughters 13 years of school and at the same time consolidate the nest egg. A little bit of misery is OK. The light at the end of the tunnel makes it bearable.
