My husband is an Outlander fan and apparently we have to find standing stones while there.

One of the ladies in the office has read all the books and got excitable when I was showing her where we were going.

What I would like to do when there is a class in making short bread as I over-kneed it when I try. I also want to buy a couple of baking moulds.

I think I'd be walking with your hubby and not baking bread. ;)

Summer is coming.

Kokoda and Luxury Escapes is something I didnt think would meet.

I can just imagine what my "fully edited professional video of your experience," would be. Me crying every night, saying I cant do it while a lovely local man is doing his best to get me out of my sleeping bag every morning. Kudos to people that do this, its on my wish list but the reality is I could never do it.

Ten-Day Kokoda Trail Trek

Who else is sick of reading about Lisa W in all the papers today?! I think @drron would be particularly interested as he did a cruise to Antarctica with her and her husband a few years back, and he found her particularly sociable! ;)

I haven't read any stories yet and have only seen what's been posted here.

We put way too much focus on "personalities"!

:D. I thought for a minute you were referring to love_the_life's Scottish ancestry!

Speaking of which, anyone watch Outlander? Have read all the books for a period of 12 years+ and Gabaldon is still writing more. Outlander on Foxtel has all the stuff of GoT just spoken with a brogue!

I do, gorgeous scenery & filming locations, gratuitous nudity and accents that Sir Harry Lauder would consider over the top = great fun.

I've read most of the books - is the series worth watching?

Oh Yes. Surprisingly I didnt like the first episode and stopped watching. Then I thought I'd try it again and so pleased. Reasonably faithful to the books. Jamie is gorgeous; the best love scene ever in The Wedding
Never forget: Outlander gave us the best ever TV sex scenes.

And its interesting how they handle the Black Jack/Randall character, and also how Clare came to be.

Might put on the list for when I get home before I have to go back to work

Lisa must only be earning $5 million/year and Karl is on $6 million/year. I can see why she's concerned and wanted to leave.

These "personalities" really need a reality check. The vast majority of people would never earn that money in a lifetime but they're being rewarded for reading a teleprompter.

I guess it's like any other 'commodity'... they are being paid for the audience they bring and... bottom line... the advertising revenue that generates. If they can attract the numbers they should be paid an appropriate price for doing that?
