i used to wear a ski suit to Dr FM's netball games - 8am outside in Canberra's winter. The other mothers laughed at me, but I didn't care - I was warm!

I used to have to play 8am games of netball in netball skirts in the midst of a North Canterbury (NZ) winter, where the ground was still white with frost until mid afternoon!

snap - well sort of :). We are staying at the Westin. Had a wonderful 4 hours walking around Vivid last night - Botanic gardens were particularly beautiful this year. Today is shopping and then taking Dr FM to dinner at the Bridge Room for her birthday.

Hope you are enjoying/ enjoyed The Bridge Room. Highly rate that restaurant.

There is another place just down (opposite where Rockpool was) called Bouche on Bridge which is worth checking out.

Serfty don't look at the footy score tonight.

What score?

I used to go to Waverley in the 90's hoping they would kick a goal ...
Glad I'm not in Adelaide tonight ... They are back there in a couple of weeks :(

Look for hawks to two or three early goals in the third quarter as the umpires even the frees up.

Just finished - it was superb! Will add that to the list :)

I have mittens now to stop the ghouly white hands I now get. Even wear them typing on the computer.
My husband is a fan of fingerless gloves in winter, so he can still type ect.

We found merino ones on our last trip to Canberra, at $40 a pair! But once you touched them, you had to buy them.

You wouldn't want a heated steering wheel in summer? ;)

Thats when you turn it off, like I turn off my heated seats in winter.

Surprisingly, leather seats in summer hasnt been an issue. I was worried about it but surprised.

I was looking at hiring a Jag for our Scotland trip. Hertz Prestige is twice the price of Thrifty but Thrifty say "Jag XE or similar". Whats similar to a Jag XE?

Are they the merino/possum mix from the Old Bus Shed Markets in Kingston?
