It will be an issue if you offer to guest everyone. ;) Unless you are super duper elite and can guest everyone.
There are only 2 people looking for guest spots and there are more then 2 WPS who can assist, so I don't see it as an issue at all.

2 is fine, although if more are coming in, we would need to start tracking them. We'll need to keep a few spares as well in case of last minute cancellations, inbound delays, etc so we won't leave anyone stuck at the airport without lounge access.

I am able to guest, but not to the EK lounge as I'm flying with Dragonair to PEK.

Thanks everyone for helping the no status flyes like me :) fully understand that if there are more non status than WPs, I may not be "guested", which will be fine as its not shabby at all to do my own J lounge crawl. But of course, getting access to the F lounges and meeting AFFers will just be the icing on the cake.

Guys and gals, I'm now confirmed platinum for this . Hope I'll be more successful than the SIN run last year where I didn't get past KUL -lol!

I'm flying QF128 back so can access EK.

Flights booked.

Arrive 2005 Saturday 11 June on RJ182
Depart 2135 Sunday 12 June on RJ183

Will check hotels again soon but more than likely staying Kowloon Holiday Inn Express. Will arrive to lounge crawl early for brunch.

Please wave to me all the way back in row 6!

Have an upgrade request of USD95 on outbound and USD100 on inbound. If successful should get business class SCs as the booking class is changed. ;)

There appears to be a few getting into HKG on 9 / 10 June so there will be time for a Yum Cha and/or a lunch and /or a dinner !! The EK lounge looks like it will be my preference for the longest stay, given several other lounges appear to be in the 'deteriorating' category, based on latest reviews here.

Those of us not on QF will wave at you forlornly from the outside :)

Most appear to be other Oneworld flights so no access to EK lounge.

Yes into the Pier F or mayb the Wing if I'm inclined to try the Champs bar or The Haven

The CX F lounges are still better than EK so us AOWABQ will be fine.

I was in the CX lounge in BKK this week (travelling QF) and moved to the EK lounge after about 45 minutes. Far superior experience in the EK. Better food, better champers and wines, more room and all DIY so no waiting to be served or frowns from the bar staff when you order a second champers. I understand it was not HKG, with its greater selection of available CX lounges .

+1 about the CX and EK lounges in BKK. EK, in my experiences have fewer passengers whereas CX appears to be congested most times.
