Vinomofo Wine Deals

Cool, got some feedback? I hope they put this one up again, I missed it.
I got a case of this.

I only had one glass of it, took a bottle to dinner on Friday night and it got shared around.

It's good, it's still very young though, hasn't had much time to develop I think. I've put the rest in the wine fridge and told myself not to touch it for at least 6 months. I can't give any more than that to be honest, I just can't remember what that one glass was like.

I teied the 2013 (I think) at a tasting event and that was superb, so I am hoping in the future with the same time this will do the same.

For those interested I've received a not so cryptic clue from my broker that they have in stock the Maverick Twins GSM 2012 and 2013.

Thanks for the heads up Rich Dog, did they indicate they will make an appearance online, or are they just going to be sold off by the brokers?

Just noticed that I missed the Bit O'Heaven Think Outside the Circle Cab Sav, which was advertised (and identified here) late Jan. I've been looking to try this one for a while now.

I hope they bring it back. Can any experienced mof_s comment on when we *might* see this one return, if at all? Thanks!

I didn't notice Steady but I'd imagine most of those would come online at some point..... Having said that, my broker said they only had 16 cases of the 2013 left (well 15 after mine) but 60 of the 2012.

If one was to have to choose between the 2012 and the 2013, having sampled neither, well...um....maybe I'll buy both?

This stuff always seems to come back eventually, unless it's all been sold. Seems to have got fairly mixed reviews from the drinkers here though.

Here's the details of the offer, in case you decide to sign up for their emails, or are scanning the site. Should make it easier to spot it's return, if it comes:

I noticed they were offering it again just a few days ago actually. It's not there now though, but they never seem to leave any secret deals on sale for more than a couple of days at a time (old-fashioned "don't miss out!" sales tactics - just a part of the winning VM formula - and probably completely unrelated to availability). I'd expect to see it come up again if you check back every day or two, but you might have to do that for a month or so. In the meantime, you'll probably see something else that takes your fancy. That's just *another* part of the winning formula. ;)

They have dipped their toes into the TOTC cabernet and bought too much. It didn't really set the world on fire and hence it will all end up in the salvation cases. Or re-appear again as "just listed".

Thanks AC. I can't believe how incredibly useful and generous you continue to be for this community. I appreciate it more than you can imagine. Now - the question is.... am I throwing my money away. Surely not for $8.90 a pop (minus a $25 voucher!). We'll see what else takes my fancy until it comes back up.... :)

Very interesting to know... Is this hearsay, or do you have internal sources? I assume it's the later. Maybe I'll give it a miss.

I tried that, but no love. Any assistance would be great.

You might want to try again - worked a treat for me! :)

Plenty of room to grow but has the bones of an absolutely cracking little number. Still really enjoyed it but a little tannic at the moment. Tough feedback to be honest, it really feels like it has a very big future.

OK - this is what I see - just cut-n-paste all the text into the search box (first result posted, but there's others down the list) - do you see something else? If so, maybe search results change very quickly? Or Google's displaying different results to different people?

Edit: I see you've got it - didn't realise it would be so hard - I kinda assumed that it would be a cut-n-paste and Bob's Your Uncle type thing. I don't always have my list handy, so I can't just paste in the details. I put some terms into the search box until I find it, and then post those search terms for you to use.

Was thinking the same, not a cracking wine at this point in time but in 5-10 I can imagine it being quite good indeed. Mine are going into the cellar, will crack the next one in around 3 years.

I don't think it needs 3 or 5+, but cellared well it most def won't hurt! Even 12-18 months will knock the corners off it surely. My 2 cents but the flavour is there fo' sho'
