sigh .. me too.. out and about today and I'm out of Riesling as well

I/we all ? …. need a mof_ app that lets me/us know when a really good deal is happening… and I guess .. doesn't flood us with the everyday garba… er cheaper wines… :)

I'm guessing that Heathcote shiraz they have on right now is probably the 2013 Tyrrell's Lunatiq.

A couple of comments on vivino seem to indicate it might not be up there with the 2012, which was fairly highly rated. I haven't tried either and my fairly limited experience of Heathcote shiraz is mostly informed by the Tar & Roses, which in a good year I'm very fond of. (I still have a few T&R Shiraz 2008 and they are travelling beautifully.) Wondering if anyone else has tried the 2013 Lunatiq and has anything to say about it, particularly in comparison to the T&R?

It might be SANTA & D'SAS Valentino Shiraz. The VM write-up matches up with the tasting notes - VALENTINO SHIRAZ - SANTA & D'SAS wines.

Hmm, that jibes better with the Halliday Dark Horse reference too (Ten Dark Horse Wineries 2016 | Australian Wine Companion) so you are very likely right.

Edit: Also, looking back at #7686, I see that AC identified their Sangiovese listed on VM quite recently, so it's all adding up. Cheers jabba.

Not much around in the way of reviews for this one either, alas.

Can't be Valentino. This is listed as 14.2% alcohol by the producer (VALENTINO SHIRAZ - SANTA & D'SAS wines).

The Vinomofo deal states the item as 14.0%.

Lunatiq is listed as 14% by the producer:

https://www.tyrrells.com.au/wines/2013-lunatiq-heathcote-shiraz

As a number of vociefeous members continuously assert, Vinomofo don't ever engage in misleading or deceptive conduct or make mistakes, so it cannot be Valentino.
