Say's "brand new", so you're probably not going to find anything that matches via search :)

That said, I concur with Jabba100 - most likely to be the McGuigan The Shortlist Eden Valley Riesling.

The 'brand new' is actually misleading. It was originally offered on 12 October.

Yarra Valley Shiraz blend 2011 - RRP $100 : Thousand Candles 2011
Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 - RRP $120: Penley Estate Steyning 2010
barossan $50 I think is golden lion
beechworth shiraz I reckon star lane
McLaren gsm - is that haselgrove switch or haselgrove something else.

Seem like there's a new premium cab offering just up .. anyone got ideas on this:

Mcclaren Vale - 2012 - mof_ SECRET DEAL Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 - RRP$85 down to $34 a pop in a 6-pack.

I'm suspecting the Mitolo Serpico. Can't find info online though for the 2012.

thanks jabba100 ... The "clues" suggest Alpha Crucis .. "What would you give to have the stars align?" from vino page
and "Alpha Crucis is the brightest star in the Southern Cross constellation, the most conspicuous star formation visible from the southern hemisphere." from Alpha page

btw .. just got my box of 1000 candles 2012 .. opened one .. "strangely" delicious with that pinot noir, shiraz and sauvignon blanc blend ..
did go well with dinner that got savory dishes that got "sweetness" from stuff like cabbage / pumpkin / root vegs ...

I know Apha Cruxis Winemakers Series Shiraz comes in wooden box but Cabernet Sauvignon is new to me.
But I would put my money on the stars aligning. :)

Halliday 94 points and alcohol 15% and rrp $85 fits.
Truly all the stars align.

Just a note on today VIM offer.

The 2012 Parous is from Barossa not McLaren Vale like the 2010.

I tasted it at a wine show earlier this year and didnt enjoy it as much, still quite good though. I am a big fan of McLaren Vale Shiraz so take that as you will.

If someone in Syd is thinking of getting some I would love to buy a bottle off them so I can judge it better.

New VIM email with the 6 Litre 2005 Shiraz for a lazy $400 :p

Also the Parous Shiraz 2012, I still have a couple of i think it's the 09 or 10 and it's really lovely.

RedBigot indicates that Alpha Crucis Delta Cru Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 was sold for $35 in 2013 which supports the consensus.
