Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Add in 7.35% from Cash Rewards too! :)

Noticed that VM is on there now too ... but only 4% cash back.

Just signed up to PricePal and Cash Rewards. I am guessing you can only claim through one of the sites per purchase. I see the Fo is 5% on PricePal and 4% for Cash Rewards. Is there another thread for using these sites? Or any hints and tips to get going with either or both sites?

Not so long ago, they were offering the 2012 vintage as a mystery label for $159, which came down to $109 (+ delivery) using a $50 voucher. Serious price jump on the 2013 Heirloom.

In your opinion, is the quoted $40 per bottle RRP just pie in the sky to make it look like a good deal? Or is the 13 a better vintage than the 12 / in run-off mode to make way for the 13?

I haven't tried the 2013 yet so can't really comment on which is better. But Halliday rated the 2013 at 96 points and the 2012 at 95 points. Read into that what you may.

I personally do think that $40 is overpriced and don't think many have bought it at that price. I've always wondered why vinomofo haven't offered heirloom given the inflated RRP.

I just opened the 2012 and drinking beautifully. Notice that it's meant for UK market.
Possibly failed export, not sure of 2013. But if 2012 is any indication than 2013 should be no worst.

Have you accumulated extra cash back due to use, MadMick10? If so, which of the two sites accumulates quicker in your experience?

I have Wozza, I've accumulated some funds from Dan Murphy's purchases through Cash Rewards, but they usually take at least 90 days to become available to use - although I think each vendor has different rules to when the money is available. I haven't used PricePal, so I can't comment.

Like JasonKing mentioned, use the site that gives you the most back at the time you're making your purchase. The hard part is remembering to go though their portal before you buy the items!

Thank you all. I could have saved a fortune over the last few months! I should have asked earlier or been bothered to track through this thread (as I am pretty sure this was mentioned previously). Oh well. I get to benefit from now on.

Indeed, thank you for some recent posts in this thread. I foresee much cost saving in the months leading up to Christmas.

Interesting to see Vinomofo pop up, but if you read the fine print they discriminate based on new member v. existing member.

Or do both with 20% off?

Now that is quite tempting, haha... But I really should stop buying so much wine.

You most certainly will Wozza. Use this to get the wife on side.....how you ask, when botts and botts keep arriving. Just tell the fair lady that next holiday, you ain't going cheap to Fiji. Instead.....with a carefully organized wife mellowing session involving a nice sparkling what you tell her is with all the money you've saved buying wines, the next trip is Hawaii.......
Maaaaate, everyone wins.

Yup, might be their attempt to avoid referrals (since you go via cashback link instead of referral link), but there's ways around that which should work.

re Winemarket delivery, unless it changed in the past 6-12 months it's woefully slow, even in major cities. Always has been.

I had this deal sent to me today for $159 or $13.33 per bottle. Thoughts from the brains trust please. I don't know all of these but it seems a reasonable deal.

I don't know all of the wines (know all of the wineries though), but it seems like a fantastic deal! I think you'd be happy with that price for 12 bottles of the lowest priced, being the Gemtree Uncut Shiraz!

I'd be in if I got that offer! Where did you receive it from?

It's very similar to a WineMarket deal:

PREMIUM RED WINE MIX (6)

If you took 20% off and then it takes it down to $80 (delivered), which is on a par with the above offer. If you get the [fancy - platinum] PricePal 7.35% discount, then you are in serious bargain territory for these decent reds.
