Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I have been pinged for promoting the Pricepal sign up outside of the Pricepal referral thread and so the post has been removed. I may not have been clever about the way I phrased it which left me open to a complaint by another member to a moderator.

I don't give a tinkers cuss for the referral bonus, it is small beer. The reason I posted was to make others aware that you may get the $50 discount coupon applicable to the Cellarmasters offer. I was able to use the coupon multiple times by not signing out of the Cellarmasters site after each $120 purchase. At least I think this is why it worked again and again.

By signing up to Pricepal via a referral you will get a $20 credit to your account. There are AFF members offering referrals over on the Pricepal referrals thread.

Got the link or product code for that quaffer + bonus McWilliams? :)

Try this - Cellarmasters: Wine Online | Buy Wine Online in Australia

It was a little ambiguous if you got another 1,000 Qantas points for the bonus purchase, but the page does indicate there is 1,000 Qantas points for buying from the clearance wines as well "3. Shop Clearance and still get 1000 Qantas points". I will know in a week if I got extra Qantas points. I tried various permutations and got the coupon discount each time. Good luck. ;)

So you piggy backed off another person's referral in the referral thread, then tried to promote your own referral in here? Sounds like you give a tinkers cuss to me.

No I don't mate. Use someone else's for all I care. Sorry I alerted anyone to the discount coupon opportunity if yours is the miserable response.

Anyone have any idea what the 2014 mystery rose Cracka are currently offering for $89 a case is? Not much to go on - 5 star winery and RRP of $300.

The DM's Red Knott quaffers caught my eye this week, so I got one of the Shiraz and one of the Cab Sav, $10.90 in a six, to try - will let you know how they go. I also picked up a Hentley Farm The Marl Shiraz 2013 that I've been wanting to try for a couple of months - $22.

We visited Hentley Farm on our trip to the Barossa. I have a nice bottle of of The Beast cellaring away. Have you tried The Marl before?

No, but we have tried The Beast when we ran into a Hentley Farm rep at a travel show some months back, and rated it. Someone here, maybe blackcat20, mentioned The Marl a while back and I've been wanting to grab a bottle - have you sampled it?

Have The Marl but haven't tried it yet. Recently picked up the Clos Otto which is a fantastic wine.

I was admiring the QF1 wine list Boomy posted on another thread and started thinking about the 2013 Dianna Madeline. What do you know - it's available now.

And if you ring Dans or go into the store, ask for a price beat. Then use a Wish card.
Dans have told me in past will not price beat Costco - they are member based retailer so will not entertain it. If you go into store you cannot use CR - best thing is to just call Dans and tell them Costco price and that that Dan's lost a sale because of it - I have done that before with Dan's when 1st Choice advertised cheaper prices so I called Dan's to advice and I have seen them wind price back on same day - I would try it with Costco but alas I am in France so won't be buying now.

I miss Costco every time we leave California. The Chateauneuf Du Pap was $109 at the licensed Perth restaurant last night and I was thinking a Diana at $80 on special could have been helpful to the pocket.
