Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Thanks for that - enrolled for the Amex offer. CashRewards also offering 6% rebate, and another $10 voucher offered by Cracka itself. Heck, might end up actually making money on one of these purchases one day. :) Fingers crossed that this comes in the same wooden cases yours did.

Edit: my fault - confusing myself with different orders :)

Not looking good - I order 12 bottles (2 x 6 packs), and got a confirmation email stating I'd ordered a single sixer of Wynns 2012 Shiraz. How bizarre.

Opened the last of my Grant Burge Filsell Old Vine Shiraz last night. Not related to any deals at the moment but thought to mention in-case it appears on an offer. This is a wonderfully earthy shiraz, worth every cent.

edit: The term "earthy" does not appear in any tasting notes and is purely my own descriptor. :)

I have some 2009 in the cellar, fantastic wine.

I have some of the 2010 vintage. Cellartracker says to drink in 2022. Patience is a virtue.

Thanks. Registered. How do you know if you are one of the first x,000 to register? The numbers vary depending on the offer. I go back to the home page (amexconnect.com.au) and try again to "Save to Card" to confirm, which doesn't do anything, nor does it update in "My offers"?

In the rego process indication of success by Amex.

2011 94 point Cellar Release Barossa Shiraz

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]As fitting for the end of the week, these are the last ever cases of this Barossa Shiraz. Last last. Final. Finito. So if you like the sounds of this one, then get in quick - this is your only chance. We can confirm that, despite the mystery, this is a delicious wine. An epic wine even, from one of the real masters of the Barossa - a famous name. Rich, chunky and full of sweet chocolate berry fruit, it's a delicious, super-rich Shiraz that we really like!

Play around on the amexconnect site you will find a page where you can see which offers you have saved to your card. Going from memory I think there is facility to add another card so that, by changing primary cards you can add more offers to them.

What year? Ive got some 2006 & 2010.
Sorry for delayed response, I had to check the recycle bin. It is/was the 2009 Old Vine Shiraz.
I had the sense I could taste the soil in which the vines grow. Maybe something imparted from the barrels, or perhaps they just throw a handful of dirt into each vat. ;) Whatever it is, it works for me.

Good news!...well for me. I found one last bottle of 2009 Filsell.
Sadly I have just poured a Coonawarra Cab.Sav that came in a bundle. I say sadly as I would be most surprised if it really did come from a paddock in the Coonawarra. No, I wont tell you what it is...it was in a bundle. And no, I hadn't heard of it before either.
