Unless you have kids, it's probably not something you would select to watch.

You'd be surprised ... Sometimes it's just nice to disengage the brain¤ and just relax ... If nothing else you can marvel at the animation.

¤ Then again one can be surprised - the first few minutes of UP I won't forget ...

How is the wound looking? And congrats on the status

It's dried out nicely & isn't oozing. It's got a little smaller.

The doc can see skin & tissue re-growth. A secondary pimple/boil is coming up & that has been swabbed - should have a firm diagnoses on Wednesday.

The secondary sounds ominous. Still on antibiotics? And which ones?

Ok resume up to date and just sent out an application. Should of started doing this a while ago.

Sure am, Ibilex 500.

One of the theories was that it started with a bite. But the secondary one came up a little south of the main wound in exactly the same way the main one started. The secondary one couldn't have been a bite because it was under the dressing. Will know more when the swab of the secondary one comes back on Wednesday. There was one swab taken earlier but it was inconclusive because there wasn't a big enough sample.

Congrats JohnK on your engagement. I love Thailand and thai people. I have a thai friend here on the sunshine coast, we took her back to Thailand on one of our trips. Her name depending on the inflection you give it can mean chicken or egg, I took her on an elephant ride in the jungle, her name means CHICKEN - she screamed the whole way ! We still talk about that great trip. looking forward to being in Bangkok next month.

New lesion starting implies the bug is getting used to the ibilex as it isn't controlling it. Need something different or addition. Without a swab result either add metronidazole or start septrin forte instead of the ibilex

Is her name Kai?

Kai (pronounced Gai) = Chicken
Kai (low tone) = Egg

Moo = Pork

The tones get me all the time but I get extra points for trying. ;)

Quite a remarkable Q&A tonight. There was a subversive bunch of socialist uni students who:

1. "Tom"asked questions to Christopher Pine, then wouldn't allow him to answer it by repeatedly interjecting

2. A scripted question from a socialist alliance member from Sydney Uni (education officer) and when Anna Burke tried to answer, a group positioned in the audience behind the panel started chanting and unfurled a sign.

Security was very slow in getting to the Studio and evict those miscreants.

I'll keep my personal views exactly that (personal) as I don't want a political discussion.

Damn! Just realised at 2230 that i had missed it. oh well, will watch on web.

I can't stand good mr Pyne personally, politics aside. I heard the interjector's question, and it was reasonable to call Pyne once for denying a direct quote of his words. But between Pyne and that idiot cutting him off, I couldn't stand it and switch over to Fast and Furious 406. (Or something like that) The one with the C5 that flies just above a runway (taking off) for about 15 minutes.

I don't pay much attention to Q&A or the similar programme on SBS as they suspiciously look like they are highly scripted (or the audience is loaded or coerced with the questions, and possibly the reactions).

I guess I'll have to wait until Wednesday for the pathology results to come in to see how we are going to attack this thing. But I won't be surprised if on Wednesday I have to change meds. I'm nearly out of the Ibilex anyway. Thanks!

I found a Myki card at MEL airport on Sunday. Any way to reunite it with its owner? I am not sure if these are registered like the GoCards in BNE.
