When sitting in the SIN T3 SKL, and they're paging pax from certain flights, by flight number, and you know the destination of the flight before they mention it.

For example: "Paging all passengers for flight SQ241, bound for..." and you say "SYDNEY" before they do, much to the dismay of your travelling partner (who's not as much into frequent flying as you are).

Also, when you enter the lounge using a thermal paper boarding pass that's just flimsy with a capital F, and the first question you ask is "Can I upgrade this to the proper one?" and they comply without kicking up a fuss. Gotta love SQ.

When you use the VA lounge showers to have your daily/twice daily shower rather than at home (especially after a long long red-eye from SFO).

I have three flights booked (one of them is two legs) and just got an email from Jetstar offering me $10 to go the following day. I would bet $100 my flight isn't going to go when I planned so just checking travel insurance now

$10 - What a joke
