I am waiting for my refund for this since I was removed from the attendees listed.

I assume this is one of the opened up slots, even though I was not advised of such...

You should make contact with someone to find out the story. I'm not sure I've seen any list to be removed from....

I have made an attempt, however after having my name removed from the confirmed attendees list on the Facebook page associated
with this dinner, there has been nothing since. Obviously there is the avenue of processing a charge back, but one would think a simple
request would be enough to have the right thing done.

Either way, another message will be sent to the person who was organising the dinner.

Any chance I can get a link to that list? I need to double check if I'm on that list.

Did you initiate the removal of your name?

You will need access to the Facebook group where this was largely being organised from.

Given the main organiser of the said event no longer participates on this forum, communication otherwise is a little difficult.

I knew I should've got off my lazy butt when I still remembered what that group was called.... lol

While my sympathies go out to people having issues with this event (and I hope they are quickly resolved), my only whinge is the constant misspelling of the words traveller and travelling. Misspelt the way the French might do, if they were even capable of speaking English in the first place!

I've never seen a list of attendees - it is quite possible I was not paying attention!

I didn't know there was a list available. There is nothing on the Facebook gorup advising who is going.

Funny, I still see your name on the Facebook list of attendees.

Unusual you can see it, as part of being deleted from a group removes being in the list of people who have confirmed.

Either way, refund has been sorted, so it opens up a slot for somebody who perhaps missed out earlier on.

Thanks Greggsy, it was something I was looking forward to, but them's the breaks.

As far as I am concerned, matter dealt with, and hope those that are attending have an awesome night.
