Please note this is not an AFF event and I am not the organiser or host. It is an event to bring together Frequent Flyers of all forums for some festive fun. I am not affiliated with the organiser but am attending what will be a wonderful event to bring together Australia's Traveling Community*...errrrr....errrr I mean Frequent Flyers. :p

The Drinks and Dinner 2013 will be held on Saturday 21st December 2013:

Agenda

1730 - Hilton Meeting Room for Canapes and Drinks

2030 - The Meat and Wine Company Darling Harbour For Dinner

The event is STRICTLY limited to 40 people, deposits are now open at Try Booking.
There will be no "on the night payments", "cash" or "bank deposits" as it gets too crazy to account - sorry

The final cost will be I am hoping around $125 but could vary up to $130 or so. Awaiting conformation of Hilton Costs

A secondary event will also be held - starting at 11am, maybe 2 pick up points, The Hilton (def) at 1045 and SYD T3 DOM (pos) at 1115 to go to a secret location for a secret event which is very secret (until confirmed) - This is STRICTLY limited to 16 people, the details will be released 48 hours before the booking form is opened. There will be no refunds available and the cost will be around $22.00 - $26.00

I've never done one of these, but it sounds like a fun way to end the year, thanks for sharing the details Tony Hancock!

Oh thankfully reason has prevailed, thanks for posting this again Tony.

I won't be attending since I will be overseas but can't wait to hear how it went from everyone.
The mid year event was thoroughly enjoyable and I will be attending as many future events as possible no matter if they are organised via AFF or elsewhere.

so what is it a formal event? do you have to stay at the hilton?

Tony Hancock you are trying to avoid me aren't you?
I arrive in Sydney on the 22nd.:(

The Batesy's will be in Vancouver on the 21st, then NYC, then Zihuatanejo (Mexico).

For the other 80% of Australia who don't make assumptions ... this is in SYD? Guessing so since the airport is mentioned in the 'secret' thingo.

Thanks nlagalle. I hope you can be the bearer of good news about it soon.

The secret event may or may not happen from what I have heard and is just a bonus, however the dinner and drinks is definitely on so i would get in one as it will happen regardless!
