(Reposted from the Magnum recommendation thread, but I think it deserves its own thread on this subforum)

There is a great deal by Wynn's currently on for their Black Label Cab (one of the best value for money Cabernet's in Australia IMO).
They are selling their 13/14/15 Magnums at $62 each for their club members - free to join, also free shipping. Slightly misleading ad as I thought it was $62 for the set which I would have bought out their entire cellar for that price.

2003 Magnum of Black Label available from Cellar Door for $65 delivered.

Cellar Door

Did you boom? Can't really see the value in that personally. An average vintage that's probably past it. For under $60 you can get two bottles of the 2015!

Yes I boomed on a token magnum

Have you tried it recently or are you speculating on it being past it?

Majority of online comments suggested it’s still drinking well.

I’ve heard the 15 is decent but don’t like drinking young Cabernet.

Never had it. Basing it on a few reviews I found. Be keen to find out your thoughts though if you crack it soonish.

Agree with you about young Cabernet 100%.

Went quick:

Provided link for me displays as I have indicated:

'Details of this product cannot be found. It may be out of stock.'

When I search for the 'wynns coonawarra estate black label cabernet sauvignon 2003 magnum (1 bottle case)' I get 'Sorry, the wine you're searching for isn't available.'

Even a search for 'magnum' only reveals a bottle of Grange for over $2000.

Will be cracking it very soon, there are some mixed reviews, need a bit of luck on getting a decent cork so fingers crossed. Will report back.

I wonder if we have different types of accounts on cellardoor perhaps? No idea how one would tell though.

You need an invite- they allow existing members to invite but not at the moment afaik

sorry but not necessarily true as per above and alluded to in various different threads

wouldn't be the first time - there are at least shareholder, corporate, family and friends

Living in Coonawarra we are fortunate to sample the wines on a regular basis. I can honestly state that the 2015 BL's are the most approachable Wynns when young in my living memory. Certainly, give them a spin around the block if you can.
