YouTubers. Youtubers everywhere [Travel Bloggers]

I've been watching Jet lag the game quite a bit recently.
They do a kind of game involving travelling in different parts of the world (They've done a capture the state in Australia in one season). Currently they're airing their Japan hide and seek stuff.

Quite entertaining and it's more a show than travel but you do get to see parts of the world and I do like Sam (founder and host of wendover and half as interesting).

Random question: are there any women worth mentioning in the space? Not trying to turn this into a gender thing but wondering if there’s a gap in the market I should be exploiting 😜 (thinking about that is how I found this post, not the other way around). There are obviously female travel bloggers, but I don’t really find ones focusing on the air travel aspect of it exclusively who have a big following 🤔
I like ‘Chloe (and sometimes Ludwig)’ - I’d guess at last 50% is Chloe solo, and she’s definitely the driving force behind the channel. Not exclusively air travel though.

I wish Noel P would get a decent microphone so he doesn’t have to hold his old one up to his mouth when speaking.

I like Kara and Nate. They post some interesting and varied content. All well made.

Another favourite is Points Guy Departures. I like the all cabin flight reviews and the races they do.

I follow a mix of travel and aviation YouTubers depending on what mood I’m in. Like others here, I enjoy watching Nonstop Dan, his delivery has gotten more mature, and his reviews feel fair and well-balanced. I used to watch Noel Phillips but gave up because of how disorganised he seemed with basic travel stuff. Also tried a few of Cahill’s videos but can’t get past the constant complaining. If I want something more grounded, Paul Lucas and Dennis Bunnik are solid choices, both come across more genuine, even if the production isn't flashy.

When I was piecing together some travel videos of my own, especially from longer trips, I moved from mobile editors to PC-based software. For anyone used to mobile apps like InShot, switching to a proper editor might feel overwhelming at first, but I found it easier once I tried using inshot for windows alternatives that are tailored for desktops. Helped me refine my footage and audio with a lot more control.

Agree, this is an enjoyable channel.

Last month they did their Schengen Showdown which was great.

I’ve given up watching of late as I’ve noticed the videos are getting longer and longer :( Some of the main vloggers are now 20-25 mins in length. All you really want is to see what’s on board. Not their personal problems or - in the case of Noel - his really stupid questions that a 5 year old would know the answer to.

For the plane/travel/flight review youtubers - a lot of people wants to know which side(s) the tray tables are stowed for Y bulkhead / exit rows... please film.

I’m kind of getting over the YouTubers that just do flight reviews. Unless I’m looking for a specific airline / aircraft combo I don’t tend to watch any routinely. Noel Philips and Jeb Brooks at least try to put a spin on each episode.

I’ve recently being watching some of Kyle Illmans videos which have a F1 twist to them, and can be entertaining. Also good to watch someone who doesn’t make their money from YouTube and has a real job.

Yeah I’ve been watching since S1 (and there’s a precursor series on Nebula called Crime Spree which is also good).

Next Jet Lag season is in South Korea.
