Yes, i think that’s right. But it’s not the people *in* their seats… they’re blocking the aisle fluffing about. And not scooting over to create a gap to allow others to pass, or stepping back into their seat row to put on coats, stow their ipad, or turn their phone on.

Unfortunately it does happen quite frequently that people behind row X simply stand and wait for those fluffing around to well… fluff around. I guess they think it is rude to ask to get past.

From the look of his screen, it’s taken during the safety demonstration. IDK about others but I always leave my shoes on during take off and landing, just in case I need to run over broken metal or flames !

I do that too. I personally wouldn't have my feet out exposed on a plane..under a blanket in bed in business perhaps.

True, RSLs, military canteens and messes have a fine if you wear your hat of any sort indoors. Penalty is that you have to shout the bar for all attendees in the bar at the time. It can be costly!!

Headwear removal is not required in airline lounges. Are there airlines who require it in their lounges?

But then again, airlanes and airline lounges are not bastions of good manners
