Got my $20 off the Saturday shop at Wollies, crossed the street to BWS and got another $20 off. Did I walk between the two store too quickly for their computer system to realise I'd already used up the $20 credit?

I'll take the $10 vouchers when they offer (though not two weeks in a row since spend requirement here seems to be $100)

In the meanwhile I seem to be collecting WOW$ at the rate of 1% of purchase plus the odd orange ticket.

Seems strange that you aren't told on the docket which item(s) actually earned something...:-|

Happily wandering between grocery stores.

Let us know if your Woolworths dollars end up going in the negative. I have heard one report of negative Woolworths dollars balances but I don't know what triggered the problem. I'm guessing there is some sort of glitch where the system doesn't update itself quick enough. I've also heard of similar situations with flybuys dollars and the members who have the $10 off option feature on their accounts.

WoW the new Grinch in my book!
It's not that bad.

There was a recent promotion open to all where you got $10 Woolworths dollars for spend of $100. Most families should be able to achieve that twice quite easily.

If those sorts of promotions continue that could be a nice points haul for some families.

I agree. Nearly $9 on three shops with combined $70 total spend. That's actively looking for orange ticket items and choosing them when they represent both a saving and suitable substitute over my regular brand(s).

My local Woolworths has been downgraded from a normal store to a Metro - and the amount of products on offer has been reduced as well. I've recently tried Coles, and I'm genuinely surprised at the quality of the produce there compared to Woolworths. Ultimately chasing too few frequent flyer points doesn't cut it for me anymore.

Hey guys,

So I was reading this thread and it prompted me`to look up my Everyday Rewards spending and the Woolworths Dollar return. Since Oct 30 (so two months), my family has spent $1,316.43 at Woolies. In that two months, we've earned $6.21 Woolworth dollars. That's a .4% reward return, and I can't even access this $6.21 until I've accrued another $3.69. Very frustrating, as I've always enjoyed the (small) QFF credits coming into my FF account almost any time we shop.

We're seriously considering swapping to Coles as the Flybuys programme offers multiple ways to spend points.

A lot of people have had similar results from the Woolworths dollars feature of the new program.

You may end up getting a targeted offer from Woolworths rewards where you are offered enough Woolworths dollars to top you up to $10 balance which will eventually come off your next shop. In these offers you usually only have to make a small purchase in order to earn the top up amount. Check whether your email address is recorded properly with Woolworths rewards and that you are subscribed to the targeted offers system.

We scored a $30 credit for spending $170 during the week. Not bad I guess. We would have got one last week too, but Mrs_Orange scanned the wrong EDR card, doh!

You can convert to Etihad miles. So no loss really ?

Same happened to me with a $40 credit last week. I also had a spend $50 or more at WOW and get $20 off immediately. Ended up, I spent $70 at WOW then $80 at BWS and only had to pay $50 in total, a CASH saving of $100 which I was pretty chuffed about.

So a grand total of two people seem to be benefiting from the new scheme now ;)

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Hang on to it for now, until the new and improved (I dare not say enhanced) WW rewards program starts. :)

Yeah but I'm only interested in a rwards scheme where I can get a few QF points at the scan of a card, no interest in playing a game of buy this brand or item created by a woolworths idiot enahncing things, I don't need the points that badly. If i find my weekly shop is costing more in January then its over to Coles.

A few more than that. With the promotions we are averaging 15% off our spends.I'm happy with that.
But still using Coles more as no point spending more than you need with the promotion.

15% off the woolworths price or 15% off the cheapest available from any store? They aren't giving something for nothing.

Matt

Since we switched our bulk shopping to ALDI, I've gone from earning ~ 180 QFF points per week (plus occasional bonus points) to saving $50-75 per week on equivalent shops.

Not hurrying back based on the feedback in this thread.
