A number of ~5 to 6 hour waits IIRC.

MEL QF F lounge as a guest of another AFFer, our flight to AKL was delayed a few hours. The Taittinger took a hammering.
LHR T1 - arrived from YYC on CP, flew out to BCN on BA, another delay. No lounge (I hardly knew what a lounge was), but a useful bar.
BKK - a scheduled wait, arrived on QF from MEL via HKG, flew out to CPH on SK. What Lounge?? Smoked myself under the table.

Hmmm, longest was about 16 hours or so last year at ATL where i slept in the airport overnight on some hard chairs and the floor at some point...

Got in on a flight about 7pm and had a 30 day AA pass and should have had about an hour in the ACs there before it closed but because the following day was a public holiday they had closed the lounge early?!?! Was flying out on J on United in the morning on a USDM redemption, but because it was to IAD couldn't access the United lounge at ATL, but at least when I woke up about 5.30am i think the AA AC lounge opened up about 7am or so, pity it had no showers (like a number of AC lounges throughout the US)...

A few 6 hr stints SYD Flounge.....after the last one have decided to cut it back to around 3 hours.

Lhr ,2 days before xmas arrived for early morning flight to Oslo ,fogged in, Ba lounge for 8 hrs.thank goodness for lounge access.Outside was chaotic.

I have probably the longest time is about 6 hours.

I find it drags after about 2 to 3 hours Flounge exempt.

ouch!!!

My longest is ~18 hours airside in SIN with no hotel

By the end of it I was just happy to be alive.
Having come through it I couldn't say that if I did it happened again if I would go back to a hotel or stay at the airport. Both options were bad actually, but I chose the one which seemed more like a monitored public place and while my safety felt like it was under threat (for a 12 hour shift of a staff member) I was hoping the fact that there were other workers would ensure my safety... I lived, so I am happy, but in no rush to go back.

Did 14 hours at BEY, overwhelming majority of it spent landside in the cafe waiting to get on a flight.

With a pile of cancellations and delays I ended up in BA T5 F Lounge for 8hrs - for a flight to CDG!! Needless to point out that the lounge ran out of Johnnie Blue during that stint.

A few years back arrived in SYD around 7am for a connecting flight to AKL at around 7pm. After takeoff the plane hit a flock of birds and I got to spend even more time in SYD!

About 8 or 9 hours in Hong Kong, no lounge access. This included boarding, waiting on board then deplaning due to engine problems.
Earlier this year I had 7 hours in Qatar's premium terminal at Doha (business class side). Plenty to eat and drink, but it was still a bit too long.

I've told this story before but it's worth repeating... Some years ago I was a member of a party travelling KTA - PER. One of our party was a WP so he flashed his card and got on an earlier flight while we were left waiting for the later plane. His flight boarded, taxied out, taxied back and unloaded (engine problem). By this time our flight had been called and was full, so he couldn't get on board and ended up spending the night in Karratha airport. :D :D :D

For lounges that I've never been to before which have had their names well known, I've been known to spend between 5 and 9 hours at them. I can't quite remember, but I think I spent 8-11 hours at the LHR T3 VS Clubhouse.

Although it doesn't quite count, but I've spent about 100 hours one time without leaving the grounds of an airport, or sleeping in a hotel or any kind of bed except for a bed on a plane. I wrote a trip report about it here: http://www.australianfrequentflyer....-photos/finding-my-bed-one-hundred-36937.html

Come to think of it, in that trip, I had a 13 hour transit in SYD (including arrivals procedures at SYD T1, then most of the day in the SYD T3 J Lounge).

For me it was october 2012 in VA CBR lounge! 4.5 hours lol. That was before the refurbishment. But I went out to have a walk as I ran out of things to eat lol.

From HKG to HNL via either HND or NRT (too long ago and can't remember). I used to do that trip once a year when I was younger (a long time ago, more than 25 years). Minimum 5 hrs maximum 14 hrs. I still remember what the free sandwiches tasted like.

6ish hours from hkg-kul at the wing first lounge.

Went lounge hopping but decided to head back to the wing.

7 Hours at SIN in QC in 2005 after QF32 decided it didn't want to continue on to SYD after landing from LHR.
Got sent to the Mandarin Oriental and then first ever upgrade to J the next day. So 7 hours at the the airport and the other 17 in other parts of airport/ hotel etc.

3 Times, in each case, just under 6 hours... 2 of them where pretty much "overnight".

1st time -PER-xMEL-CBR, thanks to daylight savings ending in the eastern states that night coupled with very favorable winds, arrived at MEL at around 3am (don't remember exactly) and left for CBR at around 8am (again don't remember exactly). We both wandered over to the Int terminal and I'd never been so happy to see a McD's open, esp at 4am. About 5am the QP opened and we went up there to try and get some shut eye.

2nd time - RAR-xAKL-xMEL-CBR, We caught the flight out of RAR arriving at AKL at around 1am from memory. We did the transit security thing to find that everything was shut (there would have been 50 or so people stuck airside, I'd bet most of them would have brought a coffee if a coffee shop was open). Our flight to MEL didn't start boarding until 7am (about 30 minutes late). On arriving in MEL around 8:30am, we then had to wait until 1:30pm for our flight to CBR. (Sunday schedule)

3rd time - CBR-xMEL-PER, I was original booked on a nice sensible 1.5 hour connection, however that morning QF called me and said that my CBR-MEL flight was probably going to be cancelled (which it was so it was a good move on my part) and would I mind taking an earlier flight. The annoying thing was the earlier flight got me down to MEL around 6 hours before my flight to PER. I thought it wouldn't be so bad, just go into the QP and kill time there. The thing is that after 2 hours in the QP it got really boring, so decided to go for a walk around. At least the first two times I had someone to talk to (although in the first instance, my friend had that look of murder in his eyes). This time I was by myself, not exactly fun. Prob was that I could have probably left the airport, but everyone I knew in MEL at the time were all working. I did also try and get on the earlier PER flight but with no avail.
