Whats the best USA sim card deal at the moment?

Ok well I haven't left DFW this time, the best buy vending machines don't offer SIM cards, but the technology shop did offer two forms of sim cards only, that didn't seem to be much good value to me for short term use.

Their's an Australian company called SimCorner that sell USA prepaid sim cards at SimCorner- International Prepaid Sim cards
They've actually got a store at Melbourne Airport. They sell the T-Mobile $70 unlimited 4G data pack online and at the store. I purchased one online and didn't realise there was a store at Melbourne Airport and can purchase from there as well. It's located after customs in front of Victoria's Secret. I spoke to them there and they mentioned they will have a store at Sydney in the next couple of months.

Definitely great value and the sim worked perfect. I was only in NY but coverage was fine there, but they have a link to the T-Mobile coverage checker on the USA sim card page so you can type in the places you are going and check the coverage before hand.

Recently returned from the USA and used this option.
Purchased sim online through website and arrived 3 days later in my postbox, once in the USA placed sim in my iphone and it worked fine. All good in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco & Hawaii.
Using T-mobile there is some occasional drag when loading the 3g/4g in certain areas, but all in all , was happy with the service.
Would definitely use again

Anyone bought the Worldsim from the same company? Has free global roaming for multiple countries and call charges seem reasonable provided your calls aren't long. Experiences, comments?

I purchased two at a sale in January, one for this coming weekend + at the end of the month (30 day span) and another for a week in June.

My email stated that already purchased cards are now "only" good for 5Gb data @4G speed and unlimited @2G after that.

I guess there was some overuse ...

(Doubt I'll use even 1Gb on either.)

I got the same email. I'm fine with the "only" 5Gb but the no longer being able to use the sim for tethering is a bit of a bugger.

I was wondering how they can tell you are tethering? (Not that it would worry me much ...)

I don't know how they know, but when plans don't allow tethering the option to set up a personal hotspot on my iPhone is greyed out so can't be used.

No offer of refund or compensation? I'm not too worried about the 5 gig allowance, but in theory, it's a considerable downgrade.
