ADL-WYA. About 35 minutes I think on Rex? Still managed to serve us Tiny Teddies (cabin crew member also had time to sit down and eat Tiny Teddies).

I'd be just as interested in people's longest flight - I've done MEL-LAX which I think is equal 12th worlds longest, obviously people here would have done SYD-DFW which is number 3, I wonder if anyone has done the SIN-EWR No 1?

Ironically this time next week there will be another QF 747 at Stansted, the Olympics charter bringing the team home.

Brisbane to ool. Dash 8 (58 miles) and also Cessna from archerfield to ool. (51 miles).

Think they are my shortest.

Flew Montevideo to Buenos Aires once on AA, not long after 9/11. The security process took much longer than the flight time.

I am a new member and this thread jumped out at me because I once had a very short flight. It was in a helicopter, a jetranger, my brother was the pilot, and had parked in my parents front yard. He felt it was a bit uneven so needed to repark. He took off flew around Mum and Dads house and landed, we were literally in the air 2 minutes tops. He needed me as ballast. That is what he told me.
Maybe not technically what you were after, but it was part of a commercial enterprise and we had a take off and landing.

Moorea (MOZ) to Papeete (PPT), distance 11 mi (I think this is actually one of the shortest commercial flights in the world), on 24th November 2011, Air Tahiti flight VT243, aircraft was ATR 72-500 registration F-OIQR. Scheduled flight time is 15 mins, but we had favourable winds and I stopped in on a stopwatch, so we made it in exactly 5 mins 14 seconds (liftoff to touchdown).

Sydney to the old aeropelican pelican airport at Belmont. We took off to the north from the third runway and I sware the taxi was longer than the flight.

LAX-SBA flight time total 20 mins or so.
Taxi time to the runway was longer, on the return leg I was offered $400 voucher and payment of the cab ride to forgo my seat due to over booking, it was only an AA voucher so I declined.

Wellington to Blenheim, 25 mins from door close to door open in Beechcraft 1900

Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (SZB) to KL International (KUL), both in Kuala Lumpur in an A320. Flight time 6 minutes.

Flight was diverted to SZB due to bad weather but airline didn't have the ground infrastructure to offload passengers at that airport so waited on the tarmac before taking off to KUL. I think the mandatory pre-flight safety demonstrations was longer than the flight.

We were supposed to fly LAX-AUS but diverted to DFW. Landed, fuelled up and took off again. Air time was only ~20 mins.
