I was on a VA flight from SYD - CBR on Thursday evening and the flight time was 27 minutes. The Captain explained that ATC had been very kind and given him an almost direct route.
I'm not sure we had a cruise, after the climb we started our descent.

It's certainly my shortest flight. It was an E190

I've done the same route in 22 minutes on the E190 :)

Not my shortest flight, but fastest was a red-eye PER-MEL in 2:50 with huge tailwinds. I was in J. Not much sleep between climb and descent -- and we had to wait at the QF terminal for 20 minutes when we landed in order for a ramp operator to be on shift to connect our airbridge!

PPT-MOZ - 12 miles. Almost as soon as you reach cruising altitude you start the descent.

Several short flights
Joberg to Vic Falls return first ever business class trip from memory about 30 min
Honolulu to Maui return less than 30 min
Honolulu to Kona return

KOA - HNL 737 wheels up to touch down 18 minutes and they managed to serve me a beer.

Meloz

I preferred the 30 minutes leisurely ferry for this route. Costs about $20 each way.

Mine is HKG-CAN on KA. 84 miles. The plane just go so slowly for a jet. They even served muffin and water for this 40 minutes route.

Meloz almost like boat race to fiinish the beer?!!!!!
On those short inter island flights, You get a cup of water and biscuit and by the time they get to the back they walk up the front to collect.

Almost forget
Luxor to abu simbel (spelling?)
interesting getting armed escort to and from the airport and temple site.
Big disappointment to know they have moved the temple couple hundred metres due to the aswan dam being built.

ROK- GLT 12 mins, the only QF flight that does not include a refreshment.

BNE-MCY no traffic I can drive it in under 45min.

Also HKG-CAN (84 miles) on KA is technically an international route. Most short flights mentioned above are domestic. Wonder if anyone experienced short international routes? I also did KUL-SIN (185 miles) on MI.

You win. PER-RTS was the shortest for me. I was a wee little one so I have no idea how long it was. Was just excited to be on a plane at that age (even if it was a puddle jumper).

According to GCMap it's 26 miles.

The PPT-MOZ flight I remember vividly, not because of the duration or length of the flight but because I was squished up against the window due to my seatmate being a huge Tahitian native.

Needless to say, I have caught the ferry across ever since.

JFK-JFK

Flying to JNB in 82 on Sth African Airways.
As we took off we received a bomb threat and, after dumping fuel v quickly were back on the ground (runway ringed by ambos, fire engines, police) in about 20 mins.

Not a scheduled service, mind you

Many years ago Bahrain-Doha on Gulf Air A340 less than 20mins(because they had a bag onboard without the pax)

Tll (Estonia) to HEL (Finland) which is around 30 minutes & apparently reads as around 45nm.
Domestic used to be PQQ to TRO on way to SYD, no longer offered, used to be very quick scenic segment-apparently 37 miles from what I can find

Shortest flight was Bankstown to Hoxton Park, about 12 kays IIRC. Takes about 6 minutes if you dont have the doors open in an AS350.

But that's not a commercial flight. I think shortest commercial was Port Vila to Santo in some sort of flying Toyota Hiace minibus.
