I've been hunting around for awhile now and so far i haven't seen any cards that do better than 1 point for every dollar unless it is a platinum card?
Do any exist??
Or if not does anyone know what is the best card is for racking up the most points??
From what I've seen the Citi Bank looks pretty decent..

Have a look at Amex Rewards Maximiser which offers 1.5 points per dollar, and although a $192 might be a bit steep you soon rack up the points quickly to counter the cost.

Thanks Macca
I've already had a look at most Amex cards but i would be using the card at places where Amex isn't accepted..

I have a Westpac Altitude Card Mastercard and its 1pt:$1. (Silver class) But this card offers a free Westpac AmEx card with a 2pt:$1.
Westpac are also offering Altitude Travel - cojoining Qantas FreqFly points with Altitude pts.
My trouble is that I can't seem to find access to that service yet.

Google "Westpac Altitude Qantas Frequent Flyer"

Welcome to AFF suzanner1.

Just watch altitude points because, from memory, I think they are burned at the rate of 2 altitude points for 1 QF point meaning you only get .5 point per dollar. I might be wrong, and no doubt others will correct me is so.

Maca44 is correct. Altitude points convert to QFF at a 2:1 basis. Malaysia Airlines conversions are the same rate. So effectively, speding on Amex is 1:1, while on Visa/Mastercard you effectively get 0.5 point per dollar spent.

Altitude travel allows you to spend your points directly on QFF flights. These flights are eligible to earn QFF points, not sure what else suzanner1 meansby co-join.

I have held a CitiBank Gold card for about 3 years.

Last month got a new card (unsolicited) in the post.:-

'As a valued Citibank Gold Credit Card customer you've been pre-approved for a new CitiBusiness Credit Card

For the same annual fee, we have enhanced the features.

* More rewards for your money. Offering 1.25 points for every $1 you spend and no points expiry .......'

The cards features seem to be identical to the bog standard Gold card (except it earns 1.25 points per $). The card itself has a 'CitiBusiness' logo - apart from that ?

Seems to be by invitation only - no details appear on the website. Dunno why I was selected - happy to score the additional points.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
