What I ate today - the food thread

I had a family lunch for my wife’s birthday at her father’s and step-MIL house. She’s a great cook (Welsh) and put on a Sunday Roast spread:

Probably the last birthday she’ll see her dad as he’s gone downhill after heart failure diagnosis, we’re hoping he makes it to his 92nd birthday on 19 July. There were some tears… 😭

Now that’s how you cook a Yorkshire Pudding:

Cheesy broccoli 🥦 bake. Scraped clean by the adults and my daughter, whereas my son turned up his nose.
