What cheeses me off

I was asked by the Royal Society Of Tasmania to give a 30 minute lecture at an event they were holding in the north of Tasmania. Required quite a lot of preparation and of course time driving up there and back.

I arrived 45 minutes prior to make sure my talk was loaded correctly and I knew how to operate the pointer thing.

Problem - they couldn’t get the computer to talk to the screen to show the slides - mine or anyone else’s.

The so-called tech guy was …

We started 45 minutes late with me, and 15 minutes later someone arrived with their own projector so the talk was interrupted so that could be set up. All the while people coming and going - very distracting.
