What cheeses me off

They're suggesting that you don't just top it, but have some sort of wood chopping action that drives the ball into the turf if you hit it flush on the face 🤣 😭🤣😭
I don't really understand what they are suggesting. We're not talking about using the driver for 12 months, 18 months or more. Driver damaged in first week of use.

Pay and display car parks. I have no idea how long I’m going to be there because you never know whether your appointment is going run over or not. And you can only pay an hour increments not 15 minutes.
Oh! All the ones I use here usually let you pay at exit. Although, come to think of it, some of the smaller ones tend to be pay for X hours up front.

I'm guessing this bathroom use to be a shower of death over tub. They've since created a dedicated shower in the other corner and left original tapware placement high on the wall so while soaking in his sage and kelp infused bath salted tub, Mr Denali has to summon me to turn off the water once optimum water level has been reached as its too high to access

interesting I've found lots in the UK and the one I want to use in Truro is PAD - the one in Wells I could pay for by phone and extend on the app if I wanted to - that's ideal

This is clearly a defective driver and they have zero proof this was user error.

And you have zero proof that this is a manufacturing defect, just damage cause unknown. Without an independent report from a specialist your rowing up a river against the current.

Let's just say that I did top the ball, I play golf with golfers who top the ball at least once a round. These people will not get much use from the golf club.

I'm stunned that a company the size of Dunlop Srixon would reject a damaged golf club claim for a club used less than 4 rounds. Absolute garbage.
Have you tried checking on line to see if there are any other similar reports?

I was surprised once after a run-in at a service station (overseas) to google it and find dozens of similar complaints to mine. I linked the reviews (complaints) as part of my email to HQ.

Hairline crack followed by driver face collapsing is proof enough. Less than 4 rounds of golf. What Dunlop are suggesting may occur after months or years of use. After less than 1 week? Clearly a defect.

P.S. There is zero evidence that club has been misused. No marks. No wear and tear. Just a hairline crack.

Various reports online but not this same model. Almost everyone has had a positive outcome where club has been replaced.

Note that I did not ask for refund. Just a replacement. The driver cost me $425 so Golf World would have purchased from Dunlop Srixon cheaper than that. The shaft is perfectly fine and retails around $200 so all Dunlop Srixon had to do was provide a new driver head for a fraction of the cost.

Dunlop Srixon has had this warranty claim for 3+ weeks and appears they have scheduled a national meeting where National Sales manager was involved to reject a warranty claim for around $200. Wow.

I tried looking at their Facebook page but it's Thailand and looks to be production related releases only. Product review could be a good start but this is now an old model.

Awful customer service.

Today's whine is a long one but

I had multiple warnings about how terrible Manchester Airport is. Even yesterday I was getting texts, warning us to get here early and it's terrible

Well..... Raddison Blu is literally 5min covered walk with moving walkways, which means we got here early. Scored a free trolley from reception, where someone left theirs

Checkin was only one J counter but super friendly and fast. We had assess to their FastTrack, saving £15pp that I was thinking about but decided to not do it and suck it (security) up

FastTrack security, everything stays in the bags, super fast and nice staff

Then shenanigans.... while waiting for Mr Denali's secondary for his bag an employee politely asked if a family could hand over their trays so he could stack them, as he couldn't access them from his side of the counter and the other workers were at the scanners, bomb wanding etc

Bloke: I'm not paying all of this money to do your job. Move ya own trays, that's what I'm paying you for

Employee: It just assists us as I can't reach them

Bloke: Do your own job (while his two teens are watching and looks like they're going to be mini dad)

Me, loudly for all: You know, it's costs nothing to be polite or helpful, let me get these trays for you. And I start moving and stacking, as there's now about a dozen lined up

Bloke: You talking to me?

Me: No. I'm talking to the employee but I'm talking loud enough so you can hear me and every one else knows how rude you are because this person was very polite in asking you to help while youre standing right next to your tray

Bloke walks away from and now we're ignoring each other in the lounge 🤣

I said to the security worker that we were told by multiple people how terrible Manchester Airport security was but you guys have been a dream run and I'm super impressed. He said (loudly) that was nice to hear

And all before 8am 🤣

I avoid MAN at all costs. When I was working on a project for Barclays I used it regularly. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Bag shunted to secondary every time, and every time "not sure why". It would usually take 2 mins to get through in the fast lane, then 20 waiting for secondary.

Wow, were you ready for him? Sounds like you might have been and it sounds like he might have been a likely candidate.

It wasn't Liam Callagher was it?

OK, on MAN this is from a TR of mine from 2017, and I was staying at the Radisson :

One mitigating factor in staying here is that its connected by a long ... very long (photo shows only a fraction) above ground tunnel to terminal 1, so easy to get to. Terminal 1 at MAN - avoid it if you can! First, check in reminds me of LHR before any redevelopment (old, cramped and grotty). Then, you go through the usual execrable UK security checks # (OK, not MAN's fault I suppose) - then ... I've never been in an airport with so many stairs where every one and their carry-ons etc have to walk ... before immigration, after it, after duty free ... all over the place!

# My carry on selected for additional screening. "You seem to have a lot of wires in there sir. Any reason?" Actually, I was carrying fewer gadgets than normal - just some USB type leads and a portable HDD .. plus my laptop. So they pulled everything out, swabbed and poked most of it. I hope they wrote down the reason why I had so many wires ... for next time.

Concluding with:

Manchester airport now firmly on my AVOID list. A shocker

[hope they wrote down the reason why I had so many wires ... for next time.]

Maybe not:

"Passenger Rooflyer secondary inspection for too many wires. He says he is travelling with less wires than usual. Need to secondary next time as he says usually travels with more wires". 🤣
