What are your pet annoyances on Qantas?

Qantas Club full of hi-vis at PER.

Why do I earn half the points on PER-ADL that I do on PER-MEL when the flight time difference is negligible?

Same goes for SC's?

There are really 4 things I don't eat. Celery, Eggplant, Olives and Feta (just wasn't exposed to them as a kid) and on the MQL-MEL afternoon flight the 3 rotating boxed options are:
1. Bag of celery
2. Olives with Feta
3. Eggplant dip

Would really love it if QF would bring back the cheese and crackers :)

Maybe you should work on maturing your palate. I wasn't exposed to champagne, whisky, lobster or caviar as a kid but I have quite a taste for them now!

Lol. I have tried all items many times and in many guises. Just don't like them.

I just bring my own snacks now if I feel like I'm going to want to eat something on board. Being a one hour flight I'm usually not fussed.

If QFlink want to serve me champagne, whiskey, lobster and caviar I certainly wouldn't turn it down ;)

FAs on international flights not cleaning the toilets frequently enough.

The EK model does work well I have to admit. Not quite the glamorous career most Aussie hosties were expecting I expect.

First ever EK flight I opened the loo door to be confronted with what can only be described as "explosive". Not something I ever want to see again...

1. Lack of availability of award seats.
2. Inability to receive immediate confirmation for upgrade bookings.
3. Absolutely unjustifiable price gouging in the form of taxes and charges. These should reflect actual taxes and direct third party charges at cost price only.
4. Inability to exclude Jetstar sectors when booking online.
5. Inability to exclude optional economy sectors when booking online.
6. Inability to properly compare available fares on different dates online because of (4) and (5).
7. Half-hearted attitude to One World alliance since the Emirates deal.
8. The complex, illogical, misleading and unfair earning system masquerading as "simpler and fairer".
9. Specific unfairness such as PER-ADL being in a lower earning category for points & SCs than PER-MEL/SYD/BNE but in the same redemption category & costing approximately the same in cash fares.
10. Use of 737s on medium to long haul flights (such as PER-SIN).
11. Serving Australian sparkling wine in lieu of champagne, even in domestic and international business lounges, and in business class on-board.
12. Inability to use points for upgrades on EK codeshares even when they're the only option available (eg PER-DXB).

Bravo, well played

Well done esseee.

Pity Red Roo is away from AFF otherwise it could all be fixed up :)

Isochronous I am not surprised! The toilets are so dirty at times. One could not physically fit in due to his large size so instead of cleaning he sprayed. Sprayed deodorant like there was no tomorrow !
Still didn't help

Considering a peak MEL-SYD return in business class can cost more than a MEL-LHR return in Qantas economy, I think cutting costs is pretty poor. Most meals look like they have been catered for around $1-$2 per serve.

This is not like AA where F class fares can be had very cheaply and with a good SC rate.

My pet peeve w.r.t. Qantas would have to be the damn Android app. For me, it almost always locks up when launched. I'd be lucky if it worked properly maybe once or twice a month. Reading the app feedback suggests that I'm not alone.
