What are your air travel micro-hacks?

When I really need to wake up (such as for an early flight), I set two alarms a few minutes apart. On the same device is fine. Sometimes I can barely consciously switch off or snooze an alarm and then sleep deeply for a dangerously long time afterwards.

Always have least two pens in carry-on.

And something I probably read on AFF - rather than trying to bring four or five different adapters, bring just a couple plus a small powerboard.

Does anyone know of a phone alarm app where the SNOOZE button takes up 99% of the screen, and the OFF button is nearly impossible to select unless you are proper awake? The struggle is real.

Having your phone out of reach from the bed is a good solution.

One I just remembered - always carry a spare pair of reading glasses with you when travelling (If you need them).

I do need glasses to fill out forms etc. I found out the hard way - scratching around an unfamiliar location/shops looking for an emergency pair of magnifiers and paying well over the odds.

Always open peel top containers (eg yoghurt, juice, water, milk etc) towards you. This means the opening faces away from you and the top forms a little shield. Towards you.
Yeah, very important particularly with yoghurt in the low pressure cabin, and definitely qualifies as a micro hack. Have the tab pointing towards the seat in front, and pull up and towards self.
