Westpac Offers - discounted Crowne/IC

Couldn't find this on another thread, but this could be worthwhile for those who want to book a room at IC or Crowne. Find this on your Westpac online banking under "Rewards and Offers". You may need to be a Westpac credit card customer, and you may need to click "Display More" a few times.



It doesn't seem to work at all ICs/Crownes, but no harm trying!

Doesn't 25 percent of flexible rate basically equal members normal rate?

Worked out to be a discount on the members flexible rate for me!

Eg looking at Crowne Gold Coast for 1 person 23-24/12:

Normal booking with me logged on:
$257 non flexible
$271 best flexible

With Westpac discount:
$209 non flexible

Not sure yet, haven’t stayed a night using this deal. But given you still book through the IHG site, I would assume you still get the normal benefits?

Yes it does.

This is working for me for a range of IHG hotels, including lower in the market.

This has been around for a few months but only recently, after cancelling my Westpac card, have I noticed it ever work. I even called Wespac asking them to point to a single day at any hotel that the rate was valid - this was months ago though.

Yeah, except unlike last year it's just a link rather than a corporate code. And the link doesn't seem to embed anything useful. I haven't managed to find a single result where it reduced the price.

Pretty sure you need to use the corporate code to get the discount. I still have the old Westpac corporate code which works; feel free to message me if you want it.

Dunno what one you're using. Mine still works. You have to stay Thursday-Sunday though
