I'm in the SYD T1J lounge until 12:30...if anyone is in the F lounge that can guest id love to meet

Hey crew just putting the feelers out. I Have an international connection at SYD today (25th June). My flight from BNE just got cancelled and auto-rebooked much earlier so now I have almost 5 hours in SYD. I have J lounge Access but would certainly be stoked to spend that time in the F lounge instead if anyone is feeling generous

Paying it forward is always a nice gesture, and hopefully you'll get the chance to be a recipient of someone else's offer of guesting into either the Qantas Dom J Lounge or First Lounge for a future trip.

If you haven't already spotted it, you can post your lounge visit plans in the Lounge Meetups section, which will give you the chance to highlight to other AFFers when you might be able to guest them in, or alternatively, when other members might be able to guest you to a nicer lounge.

I’m at BNE J Dom for the next 40 mins. Very quiet down the QF end of the terminal but crazy busy at the VA end.

So an update to this, I decided to check out the Qantas club (after venturing out and using priority pass) which as far as I can tell now has a basically the same drinks selection as the J lounge (same straddie ale in cans).

Another notable thing I’ve noticed today is that the JQ flights are quite accurate on the lounge displays. Previously it was rather poor (basically pre timed) however now it shows when it’s open/boarding/closed.

Just left the F lounge MEL on QF35. Bouquets to the spa personnel for their treatment of myself and ausfox+1. Nice eggs Benedict as well in the dining room.

Missed you by minutes, now on board the delayed QF29 @ausfox but agree the Spa ttreatments were very good today.
