The QF website refers to a bonus but the WBC website doesnt. Rang them and theyve said no bonus currently....

Just got my second statement with 60k bonus points.

I wasn't an existing Westpac customer, applied over the phone and haven't been charged the annual fee.

Interesting, post 73 which was off their website says

1. Special promotion - 60,000 bonus Altitude or Qantas Points: The bonus points promotion is available when you apply for a new Altitude Black credit card between 20 April 2015 and 30 June 2015 and make your first eligible purchase made by 31 July 2015.

Mr EMF called to request his two business lounge invitations only to be told he needed to spend on QF first. Should have read the fine lines especially as we just spent 5k on QF but put the purchase against another CC.

Not unusual for QF cards that include lounge passes. Buying a QF voucher will do the trick.

It does seem fair enough but took me by surprise as my two other CC didn't have that requirement. I will check if a JQ purchase would work too.
